Girlfriends due date coming soon

I would be ok watching now, but I was 18 and full of bravado regarding watching the whole thing.

I was just awestruck and sickened in equal measure at the sight of 'it' being stretched to such an extent to expel a 9lb, 4 limbed baby.

When I saw the crowning, I stayed up at the head end, holding her hand :D

I had a look in google images, well at least I wont eat for a while....

Can't believe no-one's done this...

MAKE IT SEW!

My mrs is due with our first in about 10 days. I'll be standing at the head end.

Which head? Mrs head or babies head? You really don't want to get the two confused!

Best of luck and report back to us how it goes!

This thread haha! To be honest, this is the part that scares me about becoming a dad! I am squeamish to the extreme, but it's also a once in a lifetime moment........I'll see what happens when the time comes!

Good luck mate (and all others in the thread expecting a baby), hope all goes well!

As a father (she's coming up to 3 next month), all I can say is be prepared for one hell of a day, followed by the "what now?" moment when you get back home.

I didmt think I'd cry but when someone hands you your baby it's very surreal :)

Good luck!

I still don't get it. :p

I'm guessing it's something to do with an entrance, but why on Earth would you want stitches near there!

???????

Imagine a slot machine which takes a 20 pence piece.

Imagine a 50 pence piece being rammed in the slot.

Imagine asking the engineer to fix it so only a 5 pence piece would fit in, for the pleasure of the five pence piece.

I thought it all tucked back the way it was before with a bit of exercising?

As long as at the end of the day, it isnt like the channel tunnel;).

Already told my missus that as soon as shes done giving birth, get herself a nip and tuck downstairs so that she can be tight again...or better still just give birth via the c section:eek: but shes not too posh to push or she says lol.

That's a double edged sword though, I had to have an emergency caesarean (I'm 5ft 5 and weigh 8st and my baby weighed 9lb 4, there was zero chance of a normal delivery :o).

I was unable to lift her properly for a while due to the operation and the fact she resembled a sumo wrestler, plus you are left with the scar after the operation.

All the mothers I have spoken to say a normal delivery is better on your body.
