This thread haha! To be honest, this is the part that scares me about becoming a dad! I am squeamish to the extreme, but it's also a once in a lifetime moment........I'll see what happens when the time comes!

As a father (she's coming up to 3 next month), all I can say is be prepared for one hell of a day, followed by the "what now?" moment when you get back home.

I didmt think I'd cry but when someone hands you your baby it's very surreal :eek::)

As long as at the end of the day, it isnt like the channel tunnel;):eek:.

Already told my missus that as soon as shes done giving birth, get herself a nip and tuck downstairs so that she can be tight again...or better still just give birth via the c section:eek: but shes not too posh to push or she says lol.

That's a double edged sword though, I had to have an emergency caesarean (I'm 5ft 5 and weigh 8st and my baby weighed 9lb 4, there was zero chance of a normal delivery :o).

I was unable to lift her properly for a while due to the operation and the fact she resembled a sumo wrestler, plus you are left with the scar after the operation.

All the mothers I have spoken to say a normal delivery is better on your body.
