Absolute scum

Presumably a totally random attack although due to the nature of Paul's disability there is no chance whatsoever of him identifying the person or persons involved - of course it was not even immediately obvious to him what had happened. It has been reported to the police so we shall see what happens.

I think that bullets can be traced to the shop from where they were bought from? Or at least the manufacturer. Might narrow down the list of gun owners who use this type of bullet.

Custodial sentence, then parole (including electronic tag) for the rest of his life IMO.

Not nice at all.

I see the 'ban everything to do with guns' lot are out in force #hand clap# Just because you have no need for firearms (all types, including air guns) doesn't mean that everyone else has no need for them.

It's great to see that the VCRA has worked so well in removing air guns from yobs. Maybe the proposed licensing in Scotland might work better. I'm still undecided :/

Being able to use a gun in a controlled environment is fine (shooting ranges) or when it's needed for work (farmers) - but the average Joe has no business owning a weapon of any kind.

The rights of people not wanting to get shot supersede the rights of a people wanted to own a gun for fun.

Do you have any idea at all as to how much pest control is done by "the average Joe"? There's little to no chance of a farmer going out to control vermin, and there's no way a farmer would pay somebody to do it when it's usually done for free.

As to your second point -:confused: In that case I say the rights of my daughter to walk down the street with out getting run over supersedes your right to own a motorised vehicle.

To make up for having a small manhood.

Wow generalized much there.
My firearms are for pest control. Which is for for work and I haven't had any complaints from your mum/sister/ girlfriend/ etc about my size. ;)

Anyway back on subject hope the dog gets better quickly and that the scum that did this get whats comming to them.

Some posts just make your heart sink. I hope your friends dog makes a full recovery and hope he's OK too. Must have been an awful thing to experience.

The two are not remotely comparable.

The population requires transportation, it doesn't require firearms.

I disagree. One statement is essentially very rational, the other (read; yours) was utterly ridiculous and a poor counter argument.

Ok - ban cricket bats, or baseball bats or pick axe handles or tennis racquets or any other item that could be used as a weapon. It's the same argument :/

Anyway - people don't NEED cars - they could work within walking distance of their home or use public transport :p

Disgusting. People who get enjoyment from doing such things need serious help.

For me it's in the same league as con-artists and distraction burglars who target vulnerable pensioners. Utter scum.

Quick q is your friend out of pocket for vet bills etc?

Happy to chuck something into a ocuk whip round if needed
