I'd try asking strava what reason they gave for flagging, nothing looks odd with it. Speeds look normal, you haven't stolen any KOMs with double the avg speed of the next best person. Any segments where you got a top 10 look to be in line with the others in top 10.

Nope, can't see any reason why it would be flagged.

edit: Actually, did you ride with those other 4? Could be strava has wrongly linked it with one of them so they flagged it to get them removed? Only thing I can think of

Yeah rode with all 4 of them and a couple of others not on Strava. Seems odd that it's just been flagged now and I cannot see any issues with it either.

Thanks

The stages is the best system too IMO but shame it can't be used with Red cranks.

They do a Rival crank that could be used with RED. Think they're working on adding new cranks too though, I've emailed them a couple of times and found them really helpful so could be worth getting in touch.

@platy; It is Ant+ and also adds cadence. Works w/ Garmin or your smartphone etc.

looks like someones panties got in a twist because you took their 3rd place.. I have flagged a couple of rides where people take KOM's 20mph+ ahead of the old KOM and it instantly removes the workout.. there's no moderation when it comes to it.. unless someone asks strava admins to look into it.

Sounds awesome.

Here's hoping.

Spent too long in the garage last night trying to change a tube on the Brompton; getting Schwalbe M+s of those is almost impossible. After 15 minutes I gave up.

There must be a magic word, but it's no combination of swear words that I know.

Anyway, made amends by putting the SSCX together. Swapped the On-One crankset and bb off for a Sugino cartridge bb and Messenger 48t crankset.

Also fitted the brakes. Since the cables didn't need cutting it was a piece of cake. Slide levers up bars and tighten, attach callipers, clip hose on. Probably took 5 minutes per side.

Tonight I'll put the rotors, chain and bar tape on and I'm ready to rock and roll.

My Garmin had a spaz this morning, did 10km then crashed and didn't update speed or distance. Hoping it works tomorrow....

Felt like I was riding a brick on the Giant compared to the Cervelo!

That's weird - mine had a similar issue on Saturday. Went out for a ride and after 1 mile, it stopped recording distance and speed, but when I came home and uploaded, no distance/speed, but showed the full route I cycled.

Might have been Steve Hulme I guess. There's a few of us all out on the same day that have gone ahead of him on that segment.

If I request support review or click on trust me, this ride is fine I get an error from Strava.

Fantastic.

Maybe just do a childish tit-for-tat and report all his rides? :p

Ha! If you report a ride you have to click an option to say what's wrong with it (so the Strava support page says anyway, I've never done it) so why can't Strava put that reason on the email they send?

i find it pathetic that people even feel the need to flag riders rides (obviously when its clearly a car or something, far enough) just leave it be, who cares how many KOM's you have? how does it better you in any way?

I got the Bob Jackson out the the loft last night so I could finish building my spare set of wheels... I don't think I'll be putting it on eBay after all :D
