Seems mine has just arrived in Poland a couple of hours ago... Chances of it being delivered Friday seem to be increasing!

Aha, well the UPS website says Monday as the expected delivery day, but I can't see it taking that long when it arrived in Poland from China in a day.

Mine has departed Shanghai at 4.52am 31/10 so its bang on to Tunney's schedule. I am off on Friday so fingers crossed!

How are you lot tracking this? None of the numbers on my Apple order work on the UPS website.

Where do you find the despatch details? If I check the Orders page, I only see that it is dispatched and is at Shanghai, and if I follow the tracking link I get even fewer details!

EDIT: Nevermind, didn't think to actually look on the UPS website

I was going to upgrade my old Macbook with an SSD and extra 4GB RAM and see if I could get another year or 2 out of it.

At the moment I have a 17-inch Macbook Pro Core i5 2.53Ghz/4GB/500GB SATA 5400/Intel HD/GT 330M 512MB.

After wasting many hours over the last week reading forum posts and comparing prices I finally gave in and ordered:

MacBook Pro 15-inch Retina quad-core i7 2.3GHz/16GB/512GB/Iris Pro Graphics/GeForce GT 750M 2GB.

I was going to get the standard 15-inch with the extra ram but I found the top spec model online for £1979.99 which I thought was a good price.

I just hope that I don't miss my 17-inch 1920x1200 screen!
