Wouldn't the server owners have to manually apply this patch first? Honestly dont know
Much prefer hardcore at the moment, I'll play softcore when netcode gets better, I don't enjoy smashing 30 bullets into someone, 10 of them missing due to netcode, 10 being absorbed by aligator skinned characters and the other 10 actually doing some damage.
We must be near getting a massive patch. I forget the name of the map but its based around a railroad. I quit in frustration the rubber banding, the audio glitches and graphics glitches are dreadful. Any well admined server should get rid of that map in the rotation. Last night I was playing on [INF]clan server, they were very good players and they did not clan stack.
I cant remember the name of the guy but I suppose it does not matter. He was facing away from so I let rip and emptied half a clip in his general direction only for him to realise he was getting hit do 180 and snipe me a short range.

Just had a really good game on paracel storm, it came down to 4 tickets!! That's the closest I have had a game, anybody lower?

btw I have just done that core unparking thing, 3 of my cores were parked (i5 750). Are there any serious cons to doing this?
I tried it - made no difference, in fact made it worse - so parked them again. The worsening of performance could be due to something else, but it's the only thing I changed yesterday.

Had a game yesterday which came down to 1 ticket, I'm not joking. Epic game.
I've been playing this last couple of nights 
Having to play it at 720p on low but having fun! Just unlocked the DMRs for Recon and enjoying it a lot more than with a sniper. Think I'll specialise in Recon and Support again in this game.
I'll try and join some of you when I can. Be warned, I do use a controller, so my aim isn't the quickest and close quarters is pretty much a no go but I do a lot of spotting/lighting up targets so have my uses

IS their always a premade group trolling the servers from here? I'm going to have to join in one night if thats the case, I emjoy the game but know it would be better with organised comms /a designated leader etc.
No, we just join a match one of us is playing, not organised - just random.
I play with Nexus quite a bit, and we don't need to talk to each other to understand what we need to do, all i've ever had from him was when i joined a game last night, he said 'need ammo' so i went support, spawned and gave him ammo.

I unparked my cores yesterday and did not notice any difference. That may be due to the fact that my PC is more than capable of running BF4 due to a very recent upgrade.
Yeah I have just parked them again, PC is working fine for all the games I play so don't really see much point of doing it especially since I am already well over 70FPS, which is pointless since monitor is only 60Hz.
I tried it and completed some rudimentary tests using fraps and my average FPS was higher with all cores unparked (same server, same map).
Without a BF4 bencmark it's difficult to tell however I have not had any issues.
While we are on the subject of hardware, this game really does suck the ram! Almost getting to 7GB
I am starting slow with this game cos at the mo if I am honest I'm not really liking it, but one thing I do want to ask about is the markers for your own team members on hardcore.
I was on the Zavod map on a roof looking down through iron sights on a couple of guys running below, and it looked to me like only one of them had a visible blue dorito, even though they were both defo on my team. The second dorito only appeared when they got a bit closer. This happend several times and is obviously a major issue on hardcore. I am used to BF3 were the icons appeared miles across the map regardless. Is this working as intended or something to do with my setup?
