mechs are just an aesthetic and feel thing. But even though they all look the same you need to consider:

1. Thread quality
2. Switch quality including ability to add optional magnets
3. Locking mechanism
4. Quality of housing
5. Quality of contacts ( brass/rhodium/palladium plating is less prone to arcing, which is when your firing pin hasnt quite made contact but the current bridges the gap anyway)
6. Air flow if using bottom fed attys like a Boge
7. Adjustable top and bottom pins
8. Resettable Fuses
9. Style

If you want to have the style with the ability to have vv/vw you can get something like the hydra

Thats the thing if i can get the Russian for a good price then ill buy it but if not ie he wants too much money for it then ill either get the rose or KFL plus. Definitely want to get another atty though. Ive all but put my protanks away as i wont be using them again i dont think especially after discovering the joys of micro coils and wool.

As for the mech mods??, those hydra's are nice but i think id rather wait for the GP paps x tbh...something about it i like. If i dont get on with it then ill just sell it simples.

On another note my KFL no longer leaks, wrapped some pfte tape around that screw and all is well so far. Easy fix rather than having to faff around with tiny o-rings.
 
After a busy morning AGM at the Manchester Airport Hilton, followed by a huge lunch and a mooch around the Trafford Centre, nothing beats climbing into a giant jacuzzi tub in your friend's posh city penthouse, with a cold Corona and Snake Oil in a Cobra Hybrid at 1.1 ohms...

Check out www.alba-vapours.co.uk - Lee blends his own juices as well as selling decent kit (he's the guy responsible for the Cobra Hybrid design - which is currently being ripped off by Andy Korn of Luxe Mods and sold as his own v2 hybrid). I'm not sure if Swedish Fish is his creation, but it's nice & fruity, as is his "Skittles" flavour. Thoroughly, bloody nice chap too!

Are all of those juices self-made by the company? Seems like a massive range! Some very tempting flavours in there, but just want to be sure they're not just Dekang imports or something.

If anything is imported or branded, it'll say so on the site. I've been lucky enough to see behind the scenes at Alba Vapours and assure you, Lee has a real passion for all things Vaping. He's brewing his own take on Boba's Bounty, which I let him try and it's called "Twisted Tobacco" - actually not a bad vape - more nutty and honey than "Boba's Biscuits".

I was tempted for ages to get a hold of a decent bottom feeder box mod. Next best thing for dripping -- much the same, but you don't need to keep whipping the bottle out. The cost of them was always much too high, though.
 
Basicaly The paps is sexual.

This thing has the hardest hit ive ever had of any of my mech mods the build quality is astounding and the switch omg the switch... BUTTER smooth... i barely have to touch it for it to hit.
Plus it looks like this!

That is nice. The X is a thing to behold. I just sold mine yesterday :-(

Anyway what atty is that mate. Is it the DoodleBug? It looks sweet

Hehe think i saw your ad on UKV and i pm'd you about it but already sold it:(. Nevermind, ill track one down at some point i suppose.

Definitely want to get my hands on a Rose atty though, decided in the end not go for the Russian 91% although someone pm'd me last night from UKV and said he wanted £60 for it, has a few marks on it and he kindly sent me some pics but my heart is set on the rose at the moment.
 
i haven't used anything else since i got my paps lux. the button is amazing and its a joy to use. Heres my current collection. Not buying anything else.

So this month it will be the GP Paps if i can get one that is then next mth the Rose atty:p
 
I've down sized to these two and have no intention of buying anything else. Paps / Spheroid for when I'm out and want something small with zero chance of leaking and Provari/KFL for most other times.
Have tried many others but found this pairing to be the best for my needs :)

Any Roses that come up for sale before the 2nd batch is out will be from speculators/flippers, wanting a hefty premium on top of RRP. They'll most likely be on the UK Vape/Trade/Auction page on Facebook, as selling gear for profit is frowned upon on UKVapers forum.

Unless someone offers it in trade for something similarly priced, I'd say wait for the 2nd batch through Vapist.net...

Loadsa time to perfect your coiling techniques :p
