Yup this. Same goes with Pirate Bay and torrents etc. There was a dip in torrent traffic for like 24 hours? Oh noes! Then torrent activity went back to pre-block levels after 24h.
This will definitely mean that all of those people who get their child porn by searching for "child porn" on Google will be forced to give up their addictions and become valuable members of society.

Something I don't get: why in recent years is it called "child sexual abuse images"? Should have stuck with "child pr0n" tbh... less syllables! Another example, but to a lesser extent, is ICT as opposed to IT. Why pad out a term with more syllables that was fine in the first place?

That's true yes. My angle wasn't the porn itself but the terms, that I think are too long. Another example I just remembered is the dustman / bin man, but in the job ad they're called "waste disposal technician"![]()
I imagine that an awful lot of perfectly innocent searches are going to fall foul of this.
