As I said, your best bet if you don't want to go rebuildable is either the Protanks of some kind or the Aspire BDC's.

Thats the Aspire Vivi Nova different head to the original one, but the Aspire heads are supposed to be really good. (their dual coil)

Anyone got any recommendations for a carto tank for use with the SOPHIA? Currently getting on OK in my AGR+, but with the locking ring that this tank uses, it means I lose out on the handy option of just sliding the tank up to change coils without losing juice.

My "holy grail" is the GP Salt & Pepper, but I can't find it in stock anywhere in the UK for the life of me! I have the slim tank for the SOPHIA from House of Mods, but I want one with a bigger capacity -- and a Pyrex tank, ideally.

Wee Boaby tanks (Little Willy etc) from www.alba-vapours.co.uk are excellent and easily maintained. Don't forget to buy a carto filler

Looking at picking up some wire for my first chance to coil & wick, whats a good resistance to start off with? Looking at NiChrome Resistance Wire. Im using a vamo and Evods atm.

Need to pick up some more liquid as well, so if someone knows a website that does both, perfec.

Got through making my own lovely looking piece of kit on IBTanked, then tought... "The wife will kill me."

Nabbed a black V5 Vamo from Fasttech, too, and a couple of Torchy 18350s. Need something smaller for my pocket than lugging the Lavatube w/ AGR on top around with me all of the time.

Look at the vape mesh company they sell starter bundles for £10 including various wire, sizes and types of wicking material, quite comprehensive for the price.

Quick question for RedMogg (or maybe someone else could answer) - Do Scope's juices come pre-steeped? I've ordered a selection from him which should be with me by the weekend.

It depends on his stock levels, but since the website went kive, he's not been able to keep any aside for steeping. Buy 50ml at a time and dispense it into a 10ml needle top bottle, I find that the juice is good from the start, but excellent after even just a week with the top off!

The Starter wick &wire bundle is good for recoiling pProTank heads, but if you want microcoils get 0.3mm A1 Kanthal. If you have trouble with hotspots get 0.5mm A1 Ribbon.
If you want a selection of wire, Trust me for my MicroCoiling Kit - I've just rreplenished my stock of Coil Buddies too.

If his juices come to you quite dark in colour then you can be assured that they have been pre-steeped.

I usually order about 50ml of his raspberry juice, got 2 50ml bottles and the first one he sent out was dark as hell. But nonetheless his juices are superb even without steeping.

Which reminds me i must order some more of his apple tart, really liked it in my micro coiled gp spheroid atty.

Right, following on from my previous posts about my inability to microcoil and cotton my kayfun correctly, heres the pictures to show you in theory how i do it or infact how i cant do it hehe
So we have a 10 Wrap .32mm (28g) Kanthal, with obviously organic cotton wool (balls)
Pictures will do the rest of the talking. Click for bigger as they are pretty big.

Coils look good, what resistance did they come out at?
I'd use a tad bit less cotton, but as long as you're getting no dry hits (i.e it is wicking well) then stick with it.

Oops thought i typed that, that one came out at 1.5ohm on a 2mm drill bit, thats the issue, its ok for a while then all of sudden its dry hit and burn city, i cannot work it out, if i try less cotton i get no vapour and no taste, more and it floods most of the time, quite an annoying thing as for a couple of months i was able to get it working fine all the time, now im sure its possessed by the devil himself.

Edit - oh and i can coil and wick the drippers perfectly fine still, using the exact method above, perfect taste and vapour everytime as long as its wet that is, yet the kayfun is just not playing ball.

do you take some dry pulls to get it all wicking/pressurized before you start to vape?
