Sadly all went well until I got to running the app within BF4 and it doesn't work. All settings checked, Crossfire working (which I knew) but I am unable to see frame rates or CPU usage in BF4, which seems to be a problem others are reporting (due to 64Bit it seems?) with the application you suggested.

Any options or advice welcomed?

There's an MSI 64 bit OSD beta.

My bad brotha. I forgot you need the latest beta of riva tuner OSD for it to work in BF4. This version has 64 bit support. Uninstall Rivatuner Statistics Server first, then install this version.

I have R9 290X Tri-X from sapphire and my cpu is FX 8350 at stock clocks (4GHz) with turbo active (4.1GHz), and 16gb (2x8) 1866Mhz CL10 rams. My question is that if my cpu is heavily bottlenecking my gpu or little, I know it does at least to some degree but with mantle maybe I can use my gpu to full potential? I didn't went with intel because both cpu and mobo is soo expensive in my country with ridiculous extra special consumption taxes on top of vat.

I have xigmatek talon case with 200mm 700rmp front intake, 200mm 700rpm top exhaust and 140mm 1200rmp rear exhaust fans. Optionally I can install and additional 120 or 140mm bottom intake fan too, should I? Also my cpu is cooled with Xigmatek's Gaia http://www.xigmatek.com/product.php?productid=104&type=specification . How can I control the cpu fan manually? Should I OC my cpu? 4.5Ghz on air is attainable imo but does it affect performance?

I am a newb. at OCing so how can I do it for my cpu model? From BIOS should I change multiplier to 22.5 for 4.5Ghz? Should I change volts and/or NB as well?

So we have the proprietary tech called "True Audio", which is cool, as AMD invented it but am I missing something? That demo sounds damned good (even if the fella gets on my nerves) and this is just using normal sound chips and headphones (I am using Sennheiser 333D G4me headphones). Why do we need True Audio when we can do it already? Wouldn't it be better to promote and use this already available and sounding great audio?
Yeah I have exactly the same thought now.Audiotrak Prodigy is able to produce that sound in demo why do I need TrueAudio?I have dedicated music card.
With true audio when I connect HDMI to gpu will I get sound on my TV?

Gosh you had a blonde moment there? That demo is pre rendered before hand, so to do that in real time you have to have the exact same DSPs on your system and TA software. Realtime rendering of 3d sounds is high cost so that's why TA is a good thing. Playback however is very different as it is already rendered but now only output for playing it back to you.

Sadly still no joy here. What I get now is a flashing bar down the left hand side of the screen, around an inch wide, running top to bottom :(

You have selected 64bit in Riva Tuner?
