My logitech mouse was faulty so I got in touch with Logitech customer support who sent me a new mouse out.

It arrived today and the box was VERY heavy. I opened it to find my logitech mouse along with this:

I am very concerned because the box did look like it had been tampered with but the mouse is fine, perfectly sealed.

I tried calling Logitech but they were closed.

I know I will probably get a lot of silly responses but is this something I should be concerned with?

It's full of cocaine, call the police before some crazy Armenian's show up, smash your back door(not that one) in, rip the house apart, take the battery and cover up any evidence.

;)

I mean, I can see it happening, not what I said above, a shipping office one guy says to the other "that goes in that box for shipping" pointing to a box behind him and the other guy puts it in the wrong box then seals it up and sends it.

But not quite sure why Logitech would be sending that out anyway, to anyone......

Unless they've sent you a modded mouse with some cables and that is just the new battery for it :p

It's concerning because I would understand it being a packaging error if the battery looked brand new, but it doesn't. It looks old.

The box had parcel tape wrapped around it so it looks like it's been put in there after logitech sent it out.

I'm really concerned about this, don't know what to do.

Didnt realise logitech mice were battery powered. I think a bit more thought is needed on users use though.

Most random thing I've ever seen in a parcel. Probably just a mistake they'll pay for return must have cost a bomb on postage :D

Suppose ill give ya a fiver for it ;) Haha! Logitech sending this out is confusing :') I never got one with my mouse but it came in a box which was 50x too big

That's a shock, thankfully you weren't charged for it. I wouldn't wire it up to the mouse as it may be terminal.

This wasn't something that has been sent from Logitech. I think this has happened AFTER it was shipped from Logitech. The box was retaped with brown tape.

Better check it's dead and not full of juice else you might get...charged.
