Have played using the ingame brightness down and it goes away just coz it's so dark ... But your abit buggered if you don't have a torch on your gun or any headlights .... Try turning the brightness up on the tv it just annoys me this small little problem ... Have OCD when it comes to games

I got a new TV over christmas, the oily textures are still present, but by fiddling around with the contrast and other advanced settings I have been able to minimise it without compromising much of the in game brightness.
Yeah it is annoying, however the graphics are very good overall considering the aged hardware the game is running on. I'm hoping they bring GTA V out on the ps4. I haven't bought one yet as there aren't many games that interest me, this would certainly be one of them.

Anyone else been cursed with the 'Holiday Gift Downloaded' issue with saved games loading but freezing during load up? Lots of folk on the R* forums complaining but no fix as yet. Seriously annoying!!!
I had this issue, it seems to have resolved itself now though.
It was happening to me last night which is the first time since before Xmas I've jumped back into the game for a go. I'll fire it up just now and see if it is still doing it or not. Fingers crossed!!

Still freezing when trying to load a saved game. Requires a hard reset of the console to fix. Sort it out Rockstar.
My game keeps freezing when I try to enter an online session. This game is just riddled with issues, bugs and hackers at the moment, I hope rockstar invest the time to fix these things.
I keep wanting to fire this back up, but I know I will just drive around for a bit and then turn it off

I worked out I got 60 hours of SP gameplay out of it, so great VFM. I just hope there is additional SP content to sink more time into.

A lot of the cars do handle rather terribly, it's really just a case of finding the few that suit you and sticking with them. A shame, especially when you have huge vehicles like trucks that can turn on a pinhead, but apparently it's what the people wanted.
Picked this up again for 360 in the £20 Amazon deal. After 2 months of PS4 gaming I was pleasantly surprised how good this looks. I have installed one disc and the other (Play) disc is on my USB stick and it runs very well.
Not sure I can be bothered to get as far as I did on PS3 but it's something else to play around with until more next gen games come along.

I'm still playing it. Finished the story before Christmas but I've been doing the assassination missions and other side stuff (finding hidden things, the Epsilon stuff) and exploring the map. Still enjoying it, figure I should get as much out of it as I can now as I don't see myself coming back to it regularly like I did with GTA4 simply because I'll probably have a PS4 within the next 6 months or so.

Still playing it too, completed it on an older account and I'm about halfway through on the new one. I wish I had people to actually play online with but almost everybody from OcUK has moved on it seems. I'm probably the only regular poster who doesn't have an Xbox One or Playstation 4, and who is still buying new Playstation 3 games. 
Nope, there's me too! I came awfully close to buying one yesterday when I saw two on the delivery at work (10% discount too) but opted against it. For now.
I do want one, but I can't justify it right now with GTA5 still entertaining me, Beyond: TS to start, various PS+ games to download and a Steam library with barely a dent made in it.

Same really. As much as I want one it's very much going to be a case of shiny new toy syndrome. I'm buying Ground Zeroes on PS3, I still need to get Beyond: Two Souls and I might get GT6 as well. Plus all of the PS+ games that I've downloaded and haven't even started.
I'll probably end up getting a PS4 at some point this year but there aren't really any games out for it yet which make it a must purchase for me. By the time I get one there'll hopefully be quite a backlog of PS+ games too.
Last week or so I've been using the guide to find all the hidden things. Done the nuclear waste, submarine parts, Epsilon tracts and letter scraps, now just got the spaceship parts to find. Quite enjoying just going from spot to spot collecting things.
Also got my hands on an FIB SUV without too much trouble. Around 10-11am there's a couple parked up (with agents standing close by) near the satellite dishes out in the desert. You'll take a few shots but no wanted level.
Just want to get my hands on the unmarked police car and FIB Buffalo now.
