Mantle vS 780Ti in BF4

New drivers on Nvidia side never brought HUGE improvements like you claim to. Unlike AMD catalyst, check the percentage improvement between each versions of each drivers during last year.

this is pretty funny - basically because AMD's early drivers were utter rubbish, and Nvidia's were ok, that means that Nvidia can't have made improvements in other apps / games

the fanboys are really out doing themselves in this one

According to that nordic review it was about 10% or just over. Roughly about the same as alpha/beta Mantle with beta drivers.

Prove it without third party slides :)

Prove what? The fact it massively increased FPS?

I can fabricate some FRAPS files if you like. :D

But yeah it was massive. For me, it was 15-20% but I didn't compare like for like. It was in that ballpark though.

15-20% in terms of a driver is massive IMO. But if you don't think so then fair enough.

This is completely false.

New drivers on Nvidia side never brought HUGE improvements like you claim to. Unlike AMD catalyst, check the percentage improvement between each versions of each drivers during last year.

Battlefield 3: Performance increased by 13% at 1920x1080 when using Ultra settings in a single-player Paris benchmark; at 2560x1600 an improvement of 7.9% was recorded. Using High settings, an improvement of 15.3% was registered at 1920x1080.

Up to 16% in Battlefield 3

I can't find any more (I didn't look that hard) but there has been some massive gains in BF3. The newer nVidia drivers are also giving massive performance gains in BF4 ;)

In our GPU demanding test scenario with a powerful sexkärnig processor at 3.9 gigahertz, we ironically that Nvidia actually has more performance to pick with the combination of new drivers and Dice game patch than what AMD is doing with his newfound Mantle support. At most, we see over 12 percent performance increase with Nvidia Geforce GTX 780 cards - quite impressive for a pure software update.
AMD agrees Radeon R9 290X still performance crown but it requires that we enable the support for Mantle, who at this writing is still suffering from a lot of bugs and problems you can read more about here.

So with nVidia giving us up to 12% from the last patch, it is all looking rosy for nVidia users.

So, did a singapore SP on ultra 4msaa 16af etc, counted down on my g500s stopwatch from 90 secs, went all the way to the river where you get on the boat.

On a 3570k 4.2 and 670 @ 1160 core and 6400 memory. 1920x1200

driver 332.21.

Frames, Time (ms), Min, Max, Avg
124222, 2127016, 36, 108, 58.402

Was going to do a graph but thought i would get shot  , means nothing at all except most graphs look way off these days.

i dont recall any nvidia driver coming out tbh and listing %improvment in Synthetic benchmarks , i do recall drivers coming out saying %improvement is this game or that, and same with AMD drivers
Graph wars are silly guys and Results given from users cant be taken into account unless they have as said by LT
"If you want to compare, you need to make it a fair comparison is all im saying. If you want to accurately compare results you need the same cpu and to follow the same procedure"
End of the day there graphs putting either card at the top depending on who tests it and depending on if the looked at the sky on one test a explosion on the other
Just except both cards give a acceptable performance and dont bicker

Am I missing something here?

Just a sense of humour. :p

Its amazing how when the shoe is on the other foot, a boost to performance can be written off so easily when it does not affect you. This is not aimed at you either, but i guess my tongue in cheek comment went over your head.

I just didn't understand it. I thought I had mistyped 30% or something :D.
