What film did you watch last night?

Harry Potter and the deathly hallows 1+2

I'm 36 and still shed a tear when Dobby gets tagged in the belly by Helena Bonham Carter.

Still 2 Very good films 8/10 and 8.5/10

I'm 40 and I still cry at this (but I'm a wuss!!) I do the same when reading the Book or even listening too Steven Fry read it too me!! :(

The Angel's Share. Group of Scottish chavs on community service, go to a Whiskey tasting event, and well I won't give any spoilers.

Highly entertaining. 8/10

Watched Inside Llewyn Davis - enjoyed it especially the soundtrack but from what other people were saying about it I was expecting it to blow me away and it didn't quite do that. 7/10

The Breakfast Club. It was good. It seems very familiar, given that so many teen films since then follow it in terms of archetypal types of school kids.

Also, Molly Ringwald's boots are fricking cool.

The Fellowship Of The Ring (LOTR) for about the 10th time. But this time in bluray!! Amazing to think that it came out 13 years ago now. Still fab but I still think that TTT was the best one.

8.5/10

The Hunger Games: Catching Fire - 6/10 to slow, to long and not a lot really happened. And still far to many similarity's with Battle Royale.

I watched "Revolutionary Road" yesterday which was pretty good, I'm not sure quite what I was expecting (it was a disc I'd actually bought for my mum* as she said she enjoyed it, and it was on the side), I'd probably give it about a 7/10, not my cup of tea really, but well done.

On the other hand I just watched "Elfie Hopkins", which was one of those "it's only two or three quid, it'll pass the time if nothing else" buys**, I'd give it about a 4 or at most 5 out of 10.
It was ok, but didn't really grab me, and whilst it was ok, for some reason it just didn't stand out really.

*I tend to buy films I think my parents might like, almost at random if the price is good :) (sort of a case of "it's only £x, dad likes that sort of thing", or "mum likes musicals, she might like that")

**Some of which have been good, some bad, and some so bad they're back to good :p

The Internship - it was kind of disappointing, was expecting another Wedding Crashers dynamics wise. 6/10

Although if the film accurately depicts Google's work place then I'm getting a job there ASAP. It looks like so much fun!
