I watched "Revolutionary Road" yesterday which was pretty good, I'm not sure quite what I was expecting (it was a disc I'd actually bought for my mum* as she said she enjoyed it, and it was on the side), I'd probably give it about a 7/10, not my cup of tea really, but well done.
On the other hand I just watched "Elfie Hopkins", which was one of those "it's only two or three quid, it'll pass the time if nothing else" buys**, I'd give it about a 4 or at most 5 out of 10.
It was ok, but didn't really grab me, and whilst it was ok, for some reason it just didn't stand out really.
*I tend to buy films I think my parents might like, almost at random if the price is good

(sort of a case of "it's only £x, dad likes that sort of thing", or "mum likes musicals, she might like that")
