Ok ive just about given up on the Kayfun, no matter what i do i cannot get any sort of flavour out of the thing, not to mention any sort of throat hit (18mg nic) its quite odd, at one stage i could and did have it working, last month not a chance in hell - Ive tried genesis and didnt get on with them at all, made my throat go all itchy and close up..im at a loss as to what im going to move onto right now but its getting silly that i cant setup it up..
Silica tastes god awful, Microcoil and cotton, the coil part isnt the hard part, its the cotton i think i struggle on, never the less still tastes wrong in the kayfun.
Heres the kicker though, ive got 4 drippers, and all setup with micro+cotton and they are all awesome, perfect flavour, TH and Vapour and none of them are low res cloud chaser setups, most coming out at 1.5ohm with 1.3mm airholes.
Cotton is organic wool balls from wilko, silica is from terry on UKV, wire is from mesh co.
Wire for my micro coils is .32 kanthal 28 gauge
Wire for my silica type setups .25 kanthal, god knows the gauge.
Coils on the kayfun lifted at least 1-2mm off, almost level with the screw tops, ive tired it closer, and even further with out much luck. There has to be something very simple im missing out or frankly crap at.
