Krooton, when Winston has wide eyes like that, does he like to attack you if you go near? My cats, whenever they are wide open I would avoid like the plague, despite being wonderful cats the rest of the time.

one of my cats 'jester' blinks his inner eye lids when he's in attack mode, looks kinda alien tbh :o

When Rommy's pupils are wide open almost the size of her eyes then she will be in pouncing mode, other than that she is soft has hell

Ha lol, I never twigged that you were on this forum too :) I can't wait to see how my 2 boys change and develop as they get older. Watching them get their maines is going to be awesome!

lol no worries, the boys should get some nice manes, with Rommy being a girl she does not get as such a defined one but she just have a bit of one.

Are you planning on letting them outside? or keep them as indoor cats?

Rommy is an indoor cat, but she gets a few minutes of yard time when I come home from work she will have a look round unless its raining, wet, windy, people about etc lol

I am going to keep them as indoor cats as I'd worry too much if they were outside about them getting hurt or stolen lol. I am going to be building them a cattery though so they will have that and I also am hopefully going to get them used to going on a harness :) Should be a laugh trying to get them on a harness though lol. I am also going to see if they will take to being bathed as well ha, gluton for punishment me!!!

Same reason I keep mine indoors, that and the numerous cat fights you here. Are you going to connect the cattery to the house so they can wander in and out when they want or is it more like a run, where you will put them in it?

Never tried to get mine on a harness she is far too ninja like for it and will escape it some how lol.

They might go for a bath as they do love water, mine does but if you drip water on her she doesn't like it, but more than happy playing with the water out of the tap.

What you want to get them use to is cutting their claws, just use a normal mini human nail clipper, I have to cut rommy's about once a month or so.

Also try to get them use to brushing, something I never got Rommy to like and is a struggle still to this day, even with bribing her with treats.

The cattery will be attached to the house so they can go out when ever they please. And I am going to start brushing them as soon as they are settled so they get used to it, same with the claw cutting. I have some cat cutters which seem nice to use and will get some treats to either reward them with or distract them lol.
 
Never had to cut my cats claws. They use their scratch posts and the fence in the garden to keep them the right length. :)
 
Cats have such a hard life don't they Krooton lol :p Winston looks so gorgeous, how much does he weigh now as he looks like a big lad? And how old is he now?
