lolJust another fad that I don't see any need to be a part of.
I do think it's enlightening. It shoes us what people will do for attention, or alternatively to conform to the behaviour of their peers. Something we've known about for a long time, but this is another example and perhaps a new extreme.
It's shocking, but perhaps not surprising, that some people will drink their own poop and post it to YouTube, without questioning the wisdom of doing so. After all, lots of people are now uploading nude pictures of themselves to reddit, and other places, where they'd be easily recognised.
So I think we have to conclude that the stigma of doing so is much reduced. People are more accepting of these behaviours, and possibly they are no longer 'abnormal'.
I wonder if we were always this crazy as a species, or if the advent of communications technology has just put up a mirror in front of our eyes.

It's not really, I'm in one and it's just people trying to do as funny videos as possible while only doing a pint (perhaps with some added protein powder).
Trying to decide if that's a personal insult or not
I can't see the problem, but then I don't need much persuading to have a drink and a laugh.

I'm still surprised it killed him within minutes!
I'm surprised that killed him as well. Not sure of the maths of it, but that's only something like 24% proof?

This one guy at my high school, took a bottle of tequila to school and was drinking it, a real attention seeking idiot he was. Well he drank the whole bottle in a short time passed out in class and died right there in the class. They called the ambulance and they de-fibbed him in class and got a pulse back and then he spent almost a week in hospital and was lucky to have lived. He was my mom's friends son, so i knew more about the incident than most.
