Greenlizard0 Weekend Football Thread ** spoilers ** [7th - 12th February 2014]

I'm trying to get optimistic about tomorrow... not working so far.

LOL same here but if WBA get a draw out of tonight, its only 2 pt lead Chelsea have over us even if we lose tomo. But still im hoping after our frankly embarrassing loss to Liverpool on the weekend, that we come up with a suitable response to Utd by beating them for once.

Really poor today, West brom deserved the draw and probably more! As much as I love ivanovic that was utterly disgraceful behaviour towards the captain and manager. Anyway need to move on and hope the other teams around us slip up tomorrow.

I thought he was going to nut Cech at one point!

What an utterly crazy season.

I hate west ham.

And with that result. We're relegated.

We are simply unable to convert the endless amount of chances we create and with with our last 4 games consisting of United, Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool I don't see us getting enough points. Especially as every team around us seems to be improving.

I hate to call for it but but Malky please :(

Not the best time to drop points for Chelsea... :(

Still - City have a very difficult final period, with away games against Arsenal, Man U, Liverpool, and Everton. Chelsea, on the other hand, only have Liverpool away (from the top 7), and have plenty of games against relegation-battling teams.

What is it about West Brom?! We have a terrible record against them over the past few years!

Heh :p Yeah, well, force of habit I suppose. Given their home form this year I should probably strike Man U from the list above. It's a pity Chelsea played them so early in the season, before their lack of quality and obvious tactics became apparent. Maybe Jose wouldn't have just "parked the bus".
