Well, I've commuted by bike every day this winter and my Pearson isn't really that dirty. I wonder if after all this wet weather I should look at cleaning out the BB? My wheel hubs are sealed so I assume they should be okay.

my bike looks horrible.. cleaned it a week ago :O and the colour it's in normally hides the dirt really well

Cleaned mine at some point last week, haven't ridden it much since so looking pretty clean.

New brake blocks arrived for it today, gone through one set this year already

Woke up, could hear it ****** down. Turn on the news catch the end of the forecast 70-100mph winds. Walk up to window see neighbours fence has blown into several other neighbours gardens. Seriously ponder getting the car out of the garage before telling myself to man up.

Plenty of #5 & #9 earn on todays commute. Go steady out there if you are cycling!

MetOffice red wind warning for NW England, dont fancy riding in 85-100mph gusts!

Fitted some Cruds mk2 to the Allez at the weekend to keep me a bit cleaner, tighter fit than on an older bike i've got with some on as the frame is a lot smaller and i'm using GP4000S 23c (ie 24c!). Will have to see how they fair!

so commuters.. how dirty are your bikes these days? :)

Mine is disgusting, I'm scared to touch it. I have cycled every day this winter and it hasn't been cleaned since October, eurgh. Going to wait until spring now and strip and replace everything.

im going to change my brake pads for my CX bike, not sure which ones will fit

seen these on wiggle and the reviews suggest they will

??

55mm shimano etc pads :) 99% sure this will be the case.

been using these for ages.. great pads for the price - 8 in a pack for 8ish quid! and fit my 55mm brakes no problems! my brother has been using them too and he likes them! give them a shot tbh.. can't go wrong for the price

so are my dirty caliper brakes ;) pfth disks.

:p

My bikes seem to attract ridiculous amounts of mud and dirt. Even with my ghetto bluemels zip-tied to the frame. I cleaned the bike last week and it already looks like I've been using it for actual CX rather than just commuting about.
