Cuffy lad, that could be any number of things,
have a look at This see if its close to what you having

I have tried most of the things in that thread except checking the ohm of my coils, I don't have the original ones anymore so can't really check them ;-(

Could it be my batteries are due for changing?

^

Yep, split into smaller orders. Free shipping anyway, and they always mark the package as a Gift. Just got my Vamo V5 from them yesterday... about 1 month wait, so not too bad.

Verdict on the battenberg Merlin5? i've also got some on order! a 70/30 mix.

Not tried it yet Tauren, I've been out today. It also needs steeping. I've been so disappointed with juices that I want to make sure I try it with the best possible set up this time, so I'll wait till I've built a microcoil and am using cotton wool for wick. If I get time to build it tonight I'll try the juice. I can barely smell anything from the bottle, but I can detect a faint smell of jam.

I hate to be a thread skimming dick, but after reading 40 or so of the 145 pages here I'm just as confused as I was when I started :D. Basically I'm looking for a starter kit for around 50-60 of our British pounds. I smoke rollies atm, probably 13-15 a day; and I enjoy the kick of a stronger smoke. I've quit previously; for several years. But I really missed the sensation. Especially whilst drinking. So I'd like to switch to vaping if possible. I've switched to vaping in other areas *ahem*, but tobacco vaping is completely confusing for me. Can anyone recommend a suitable starter kit, around the £60 mark (with juice). Ideally upgradable, but idk whether that's really doable with the budget. Any advice appreciated :).

ah fair play, no worries! cheers though. mine was shipped earlier, i also got custard cream juice as well, although, im not sure if it'll be any good. im used to menthol's like vapeescape's arctic mint. great stuff!

Just ordered my first non-menthol juice. Banana and nut bread from Joose.

It's going to be steeping for a week, though I might have to have a little blast on it over the weekend.

Sounds promising, I would have expected nothing but almonds on the smell.

I tried it now. Must need a lot of steeping because I get no distinct flavour at all yet, but it's certainly got sweetness. Absolutely no marzipan as yet. Me and juices - fail! :p Too early for me to judge to be fair, needs a week maturing at least.

Well chaps, I am absolutely chuffin' chuffed with myself. I lost my virginity and did my first ever microcoil! Beginners luck perhaps, but it was much easier than I expected, nailed it first time and no wasted kanthal! :D

Found my old set of mini silver handled screwdrivers of varying thickness and used one which is probably around 2mm or slightly less. Cut off about 15cm of 0.3mm/28 kanthal, held in tweezers and torched it for about 30/40 seconds in the blue flame part from a bic lighter. Wrapped it about 10 times, pressed it up against the handle of the screwdriver to compress it then transferred it to tweezers. Torched it while compressing more. Transferred back to the screwdriver and installed it with no problem this time getting through the holes of the IGO-W. Adjusted it so coil wasn't touching the posts, then tightened the post screws down. Then pulsed and compressed it a few times more. Was easier working on it having the dripper attached to the mod.

Was a bit high from the deck so pushed it down a little, trying not to mis-shape or break it. But yeah, this wire is pretty solid and resilient once coiled and torched. It's not perfect, coils could still be tighter together but works perfectly! Used a tiny piece of cotton pleat and it went through pretty easy. Resistance coming out as 1.6 ohms.

The throat hit is ridiculous compared to the evod, much stronger!

For a beginner I recomend a twist battery with some EVOD's cant really go wrong. I would recomend something like
Battery
Evod
USB-Charger
There could be other places to get them from and juice is a personal thing.
Try get a few juices and a few EVOD's so you can swap and change untill you find some you really like.

Or just get:

And some samples from:
www.joosejuice.co.uk
wwww.scopesejuice.co.uk

I started with something similar but found the 650mAh btys didnt last all day while im at work, so had to carry two of them, and I like the VV of the twist's
I dont know anyone who still uses the case after about a week. And I'm a big fan of the EVOD's simple to use and cheap, I have diffrent colours for diffrent flavours and with the option of rebuilding them should you want to you cant go wrong.

think im just going to replace my whole kit to try and solve my no flavour problem.

On the Evod what does Capacity: 650mah mean?

Also is the Grey Haze better than the Evod or should I go for something totally new?

650mah is the size of the battery. Kind of like a petrol tank in a car for example if you have a 650 ltr tank you could drive at 70 mph for 10 hours if you have a 1100ltr tank you could drive at 70 mph for 18 hours. I hope that makes sense

The grey haze kit looks ok for the price but like i say i prefer a larger battery and the ability to adjust the voltage, but for that the battery is larger.

Excellent explanation.
My recommendation over your 1100mAh was more because the Greyhaze.co.uk Aspire kit comes with 2 batteries - regardless of capacity, we've all learned it's important to have one charging whilst the other's in use - something that might not occur to the first time buyer.

Also, although the Evod tanks are reliable, I find the flavour and warmth from the Aspire tanks much better. But it's down to budget and personal preference.
