Monreal should've been off, he stamped on the achilles, Kevin Nolan got sent off for the exact same thing earlier this year against us and everyone agreed it was a read.

Oh and as for you second line. lol.

Thought Sturridge was absolutely dreadful for us today, could've had a hattrick and played in Suarez twice for easy finishes. Still, would rather he got that game out of his system in the cup rather than a league game.

Finally, Joe Allen is a brilliant footballer. Does so much to justify his price tag. Hope he stays with us for life.

I'm not really seeing your point, you got away with a lucky win due to your reserve goalie playing pretty good, poor finishing and Howard Webb, you're acting like a) those results haven't happened to your team b) it means very much in the grand scheme of things. Give me that game again with proper officiating and Sturridge not chasing some dumb record and you aren't even posting on here.

Kos/Merte/Arteta/Ox/Ozil/Flamini aren't your first team players btw?

And yet the trophy cabinet has remained shut with big ears know were to be seen.;) Tell me did arsenal get a trophy cabinet with the emirates or did they not bother with the planning application.:D
 
Suarez certainly didn't go missing in this big game. Going down like a desperate #### for the first penalty and overacting for the second. I think very harsh for first but second should have been one.

According to mourinho Liverpool should be favourites for the title now they are out of everything but league ;)
 
Not sure how we didn't win that. Actually that's a lie, it's because Brad Jones is ****, Sturridge forgot how to score and Howard Webb is a gigantic ****.

Maybe I'm being harsh on Jones but both Arsenal goals were going straight at him and he's dived past them and the build-up to the first goal came about because Jones couldn't catch the simplest of balls and instead gave away another corner.

Monreal's challenge was a shocker but maybe you could give Webb the benefit of the doubt because he was quite far away from it (his lino was looking straight at it though). Webb was terrible throughout the game though - countless small decisions he got wrong and then beat his own record for the worst decision of the season with the penalty shout when Ox wiped out Suarez. They don't come more clear cut than that. Gerrard probably should have got a 2nd yellow at the end too.
 
Yes, makes quite a difference having Bad Jones compared to Fabianksi who actually did well bar punching Agger, didn't do much else wrong, did great vs Sturridge 1v1 too.

qualifying for the champions league is considered an achievement now? I wouldn't be happy to just participate in it tbh. Which is what Arsenal have been doing for a very long time now.

**** that we didn't, we didn't put away our chances regardless the fact we should've had penalties, game should've been 2-2. (Assuming Monreal/Gerrard sending offs don't effect anything).

Webb was the one watching Eto clattering Suarez too at Stamford Bridge (who also didn't send him off for going studs up into Hendo's knee). I'm not sure how we haven't requested to have him removed from reffing or games, or the fact someone from the SYP is doing it at all really.
