F1 Testing 2014: Week 2 Bahrain

There's another on the front right and you can clearly see it's looped around.

Cars smoke when they stop (that could well be coming from the rear brakes, depending which way the wind's blowing), so I'm not reading anything into it yet.

"Helmut Marko confirmed that the Problem with RB10 is from Engine Environment" ;)

in other words "newey you ***** up, sorry I have to blame you but Webber is no longer here" :D

Merc and Ferrari engined cars seem to be fine. Renault must be getting a grilling from these teams by now, surely.

1 Hulkenberg (Force India) 11m36.880s (78 laps)
2 Alonso (Ferrari) 1m37.879s (64 laps)
3 Hamilton (Mercedes) 1m37.908s (74 laps)
4 Magnussen (McLaren) 1m38.295s (81 laps)
5 Vettel (Red Bull) 1m40.224s (14 laps)
6 Sutil (Sauber) 1m40.443s (82 laps)
7 Frijns (Caterham) 1m42.534s (68 laps)
8 Kvyat (Toro Rosso) 1m44.346s (5 laps)
9 Grosjean (Lotus) 1m44.832s (8 laps)
10 Massa (Williams) no time (5 laps)
11 Bianchi (Marussia) no time (3 laps)

I'm still going to watch race one live.. But looking at that probably no more (it's not like lotus are going to be moving up the field as time goes on)

Why? Caterham has done ok.

Indeed, the Renault doesn't appear to be overly unreliable in the Caterham.

So I guess either Renault massively underestimated the cooling requirements (But then does that make it just fluke that Caterham are fine), or the teams that are having problems simply ignored Renault and screwed up...

Side pods on the Cat are huge....

That could be what horner says when they lose :D

If rb are the same by the end of the week then it's game over and welcome back to the midfield.

Cannot wait to see baby Vettel throw all his toys out of his pram...and with no Mark to sort the car out...looks like RBR are heading towards a creek without a paddle...love it! :)
