Hi,

Can anyone tell me the most cost effective way of adding Premium Membership to my existing Vanilla version please?

The only way I can see is to buy it but as I already own BF4 I dont want to do that

i'll be on tonight, and on TS but will be doing a Nexus. Misses got fit friends around for movie and wine so I need to be on best language behaviour

Buying it is the only way to get it, DICE don't do freebies, best bet is too find it cheaper than on Origin like SimplyCD Keys or CJS CD Keys.
 
You don't get a copy of the base game with Premium at the moment, it just gets you the expansions two weeks early alongside some extra weapons and assignments.

So funny when when people are getting owned by a tank, they equip staff and get two reppers for their tank just so they can kill you.

I also love it when people give of about me and other vehicle players camping/not PTFO etc. despite having 3-5 times more flags capped and defended than them :D


And then the complainers about not doing as well when playing infantry instead of tank whoring..... I guess m416 & QBU was too stronk??? ;) Think that whiner TS something was then complaining about me killing him instantly lol....

AND then you have the people who seem to think tanking is EASY, if that is the case, why are they near the bottom of the leaderboard with a negative k/d ratio when they try........


Chat box so much more fun than the game!
 
Ok I fixed my bad luck streak and had massive lols doing it using First shotgun you get + 4x scope + slugs and stubby grip. EOD bot, sraw, m40's

Sniper shotgun, eod bot for the lul moments, sraw for oh **** theres a tank and m40's
was so fun using this combo, now setting myself crazy weapon challenges.
 
Looking to start getting back together with people on here soon. Been a bit preoccupied with losing job and all sorts.

Is this game still crashing a lot for people?

It's just that I have recently made some changes, such as moving to windows 8.1, installing different memory, etc, but the game is crashing frequently.

Currently while getting things to top level performance again, I am pushing one thing at a time, so CPU and GPU are at stock currently.

My Ram on the other hand is some of the 2400Mhz stuff. My board doesn't really want to run it at 2400Mhz, but seems good to 2200Mhz - as far as Prime testing goes.

But BF4 is still crashing... guess I could run completely "stock" for a while (basically underclocking my RAM, but hell, I'd like to move forward with getting my system "finished" rather than holding back for the occasional game of BF4...

What type of crashes are you getting? BSOD/Hard Locks are likely OC related. Are you using Prime Blend as I find this better with Sandybridge atleast.
 
No hard locks or system crashes. Just Battlefield 4 has stopped responding type game crashes.

Yeah, running Prime blend.

Though I just realised when I was having a quick go of BF4 earlier, Prime was still running in the background... though I wouldn't expect that to cause a crash, but make things run slow - which it oddly didn't seem to...
 
Since the update on any map I just continue to get DX crashes...every map, few seconds in, going to try and uninstall/reinstall etc although I seriously doubt it will help.

No problems up until the Second Assault update.
 
I cannot play for 10 seconds anymore. Hugely frustrated. Soundloop crash every time. How on earth can they keep releasing updates and not fix this?

For me it was fixed for a brief month then last last 2 updates have ruined it for good. All I want to do this morning is play a few rounds of BF4 which has cost me ~£80 and I cannot even fire a shot. What a sad state of affairs it really is. It's not lik they're short of money and time to support this huge franchise.

I had crashes after the SA update as well. Changing the renderer from DX11 to Mantle seemed to fix it for me, even though my GPU shouldn't have mantle optimisations yet. Might be worth a try before reinstalling.

I've resetcpuoc. Blck100 upped the cpu voltage etc. Seems better. Fingerscrossed.

justdone 2 full 1000 ticket mapswithnocrash! Nojinx.
