Setter agreed to me having his 4770K and 780 but I couldn't afford the drop down in performance.

never said i didnt have money, got plenty of that...I JUST REFUSE TO BACK THEM BY BUYING MORE OF THEIR BROKEN PRODUCT END OF. I love the game with friends, but hate the direction the company is taking this great franchise. I totally disagree with them taking a huge dump on us and then having the cheek to ask for more money whilst they clearly arent even bothering to make a solid experience.

FX8320 and a 780 and I'm getting 90+ on full Ultra, with the settings I run I'm getting 120+.

Something is very wrong if he is only getting 50.

No way. I get a constant 120 with same setup.

EDIT: All SA Weapons unlocked now.

I don't need to worry about main components and FPS since I run everything on low/of anyway (except mesh)

Even though I get 100+ FPS, the game still doesn't "feel" perfectly "smooth", supposedly windows 8/8.1 will make it buttery smooth...

Really wanting a 120Hz screen but I don't want to go back to TN panel

Nex, I went from win 7 to 8.1, much smoother.

I got some DLL missing error when i tried Sweet FX, any ideas?

See I really want to get 8.1 on but just know once I do, I'll get sound loop crashes etc.

Which sweetfx did you try???

Some you just need to download the rar file and extract to bf 4 folder and that is it, others you need to download the basic sweetfx stuff, paste them into bf 4 folder and then copy and paste the settings from what ever config you want into the sweetfx_ settings text file.

Most of them work fine, just need to dll a different file if specified.

It is really nice, more colourful, natural was very nice but a bit too dark for my liking.

can u talk me through it then mate? I wasnt able to get my sweetfx working with my windows 8.1..I can use it on all my other games, but doesnt seem to like BF4..Might be a AMD issue as im sure you roll with Nvija

got a 7850 MSI OC here so not an AMD issue.

My error was something in the Sys32 folder, Google suggests making sure my DX is up to date, which it is.... Hmmm.

Edit, lets try again see what happens.

Have you downloaded the SweetFX Configurator? You can add the games you play, add the presets you want to have and load the preset you want to try. Simples.

It shouldn't. Been rock solid for me. Just because one user is having issues, doesn't mean that the OS is the root cause.
