thanks for the invite/accept into clan :D sorry to the guy I was gunna join for a bit, whilst waiting my mate got me onto iracing for a "quick" race :p should be on again tonight at some point. so this torment I II III etc... that just the new high end difficulties?

should be about tonight for a little bit of playing :D also need to look up build again.... or just try and stick with mine/fine tune and get some decent gear as mine is pants xD I can help attempt to boost if want. my freezing ability is handy for just churning through monsters ;)

Are you on about RoS or D3? I picked up D3 last night for €22.79 which after the conversion worked out at £19.49

Getting back into this after not playing it for over a year :P Was waiting for the Crusader class in RoS before I fully get back into it then only to be told there's bonus XP... Time to level up a witch dr!
 
just had a thought, I bought one of the collectors editions or something.. the one with the D3 cool looking book..... but now most of that info in there will probably be wrong as they've patched the **** out of the game and removing passives n such.... great :p let me guess.... with this expansion there will be a more up to date book ;) ? :p
 
There's a Dev 'playtest' on the official forum where the Dev is told about how you can hit lvl 42 before reaching Tristam using the high level Torment 'boost'.

He's definitely not aware that this could be done and explains that's what the PTR is for to find out these type of 'things'.
 
I am not going to get the Collectors Edition this time around. I did last time but frankly I prefer digital storage less footprint in the home! :)

I actually got rid of all my CE stuff except for the Diablo USB stick holder thing lol.
 
Guys do any of you know will Blizzard offer some kind of combo deal with D3 + RoS? They sell SC2 + HotS for £45 on Battle.net, I have 2 friends looking to buy this but to buy the games and expansion seperately is around £60 and they're not willing to pay that much. Are there any outside websites that you would recommend, are gaming dragons reliable?
 
You can pick up the digital versions of D3+RoS for around £22 each if you shop around.

The only problem is the price of D3 is slowly rising due to the recent patch and new expansion.

£15 does seem cheap....Ive seen lost of places still selling it for £29.99...rip of merchants.
 
I've sent an email to them, I thought at first they were selling 'used' copies but it does say 'New'.. I'll see what the reply is.
 
This may be a strange question, but does anyone else's mouse hand ache after playing this for a while? It's the only game that does it to me.

150k certainly isnt required to join any torment level. I jumped in a torment 6 game today with only 170k DPS. I clearly wasnt doing an awful lot and died quite a bit so left and went for a lower difficulty.

If you are thinking of the same game that I think you are, it wasn't down to anyone being elitist. The guys who started the game (can't recall names) wanted to do a run through act1 at a decent speed to farm it, not to scrape through it carrying weaker players.

I joined the game in my barbarian and died lots, my dps felt ineffective (despite being around 180k or so on the build I had at that point when ingame) and it was slowing things up for those wanting to farm it. Low end players joining their game took away the benefit of adding extra players as everything took so long.

Had good fun on Torment 2 last night. Will likely play some more tonight to try and get a few more legendaries. Got some new boots and shoulders last night and rejigged some other skills and gear to improve my toughness without losing out on dps. Got a long way to go though:

I really need to get my healing better as neither Rend or Ignore Pain are as effective as they used to be. Think I want to get some life steal/life on hit or perhaps a nice ring/amulet with a load of life on kill would probably suffice for a lot of situations. Found that I had to do a Rend and run off too many times to slowly heal up yesterday! Any pointers would be great :)

Are diamonds worth using in gear for extra resist over base stats?
 
I'd only use diamond gems if you really needed the resistances, otherwise go for your main stat which is essentially a survival stat anyway if you have any life steal. More damage = more healing.

By the way, the clan is now full. There is a 150 member limit. I've created an Overclockers UK community which is similar to a clan, but allows for an unlimited number of members, and you can be a member of the clan and community at the same time.

Search for Overclockers UK to join - No invite required.

Keep thinking I should lvl my monk (Paragon 15 or so) with this 50% buff, but just enjoying hardcore too much..and obviously I'll roll a PaladinCrusader once released, so not much look in for poor old Monkgyver at present.

I really want to play this, but I keep telling myself to wait for the PS4 version due to so many people saying it feels/plays better on consoles. It's difficult to resist :(

wait wut?! a point/click game.......... better on consoles...... wtf?! o.O how is that even possible?!I uses teleport as my "oh **** I need to get out of here" ability and use the run to allow a few quick teleports.... how on earth am I supposed to move the mouse to where I want so quickly using a damn analogue stick?!?!?!?!

I find your lack of precision disturbing :p PC master race :p

or is everyone plugging in they mouse and keyboards to their consoles now?
