wait wut?! a point/click game.......... better on consoles...... wtf?! o.O how is that even possible?!I uses teleport as my "oh **** I need to get out of here" ability and use the run to allow a few quick teleports.... how on earth am I supposed to move the mouse to where I want so quickly using a damn analogue stick?!?!?!?!

I find your lack of precision disturbing :p PC master race :p

or is everyone plugging in they mouse and keyboards to their consoles now?
Don't ask me I've not tried it! :p I am of the PC master race, believe me! It's just I've genuinely heard that the game flows better and is more relaxing on consoles than PC.

Is there anyone who has played both versions? I'm genuinely interested to know your thoughts about the differences. The devs themselves say it flows better, you feel more connected to your character. Whereas on PC it's more "tactactactac" and you're stationary a lot more (devs own description :p) pointing and clicking.

I guess it comes down to how you want to play. I want something that I can disappear into and chill out playing, the idea of D3 on the console after reading peoples opinions sounded more appealing to me. I did enjoy the starter demo on the PC and wanted to buy it, but I've been holding out.

I really want to play this, but I keep telling myself to wait for the PS4 version due to so many people saying it feels/plays better on consoles. It's difficult to resist :(

Go on, you know you want to....

It's only like £18/19 and depending on your connection you could be playing in the next few hours, plus there's still no date for the PS4 version as far as I know.

Plus I need someone wanting to do a full play through!

I don't mind soloing it but games are fun with more people :D

haha yeah I wasn't demanding answers from you specifically eggyoke :p more of a general "how can they actually do this?!" :p

I remember being on a german exchange trip and my pen pal had C&C on the ps1, I remember playing it and that was using the damn D-pad to move the mouse haha :p

Even though my Wizard has under half the DPS my Barb has I enjoy using her a lot more. Wish I'd rolled a Wizard earlier and spent the gold I did on her instead, must be ridiculously powerful around 300k dps.

eggy, please don't use the AH to buy any gear no matter how tempting it may be. The game is so much better when you don't use the AH at all :)

The only exceptions I have to this at the moment is for selling some of the plans I find to get a bit of gold for the expac, and for getting a couple of things for my follower (legacy Buriza that freezes targets at the recommendation of Brok). Oh yeah and gems.

Yeah I'll stay away. I thought they were doing away with it anyway or was that just the console version?

Requested add to OCUK clan but it said that it can't take anymore requests right now :(

it was the first clan in the list before I even searched!

The AH is still up for a bit longer, it will be going soon (before RoS I think).

I reckon they should have kept the AH up in some form though, the gold AH just allowing commodity/plan buying/selling would be pretty cool, with items removed to stop the buy to win scenario.

Also Wizard seems to be flavor of the month class, though I am still having fun on my DH! :)

I personally will be missing the auction house, both real money and gold. I don't really understand all the AH hate. It is there, if you want to use it. If you don't, thats fine too. It is a choice everyone has to make on their own.

I have 350k dps monk and over 1000 played hours. There is absolutely no way my character would be as good as it is now if I did not use the AH. Pre patch, if you wanted a descent character you simply had no other options but to use the auction house. The loot drops were no where near good enough to support endgame. I don't really want to start another AH discussion as this is being chewed to death but please don't tell people game is better without ah as this is strictly matter of personal choice.

And if there is one thing i would recommend not buying right now - that would be gems. Why people buy them at this stage is beyond me. Every gem, apart from marquise (which you cannot buy) will be obsolete when u reach level 61 and imperial gems start dropping from monsters. To make 1 marquise now u need 3 radiant star gems (about 18 mil each) + 20 million for crafting, so that is 70+ million u send down the drain with every marquise you craft. For 70 million you can craft tons of shoulders, bracers and gloves and get a much, much better upgrade to your character.

With that said, each to their own. Happy loot hunting :)

The clan is full, but you can join the community. Just search for Overclockers UK.

I'd encourage all existing clan members to join the community too just so that nobody is excluded from the chat.

Only reason I could see it been better on a console is if you had a **** pc. Honestly diablo was created as a pc game and is a point n click at its core.

I guess you could argue that the console is more pick up and play for short periods over a pc....maybe. I think devs saying you feel more connected is probably more a marketing thing to get people to go out and buy it, including some people that already have it on pc.

You can always use a controller on a pc as well.

Bottom line is its a great game and doesn't matter how you play it as long as you do :)
