I've been playing D3 the last few days and really enjoying it. I've now got a 60 wizard with par 30, but only putting out about 96k dps. I've had quite a few legendary drops, but to be honest most of them are no better than the rare items I already have! Any suggestions?

Really noting this though, and just going to start a monk on Expert. What are the experiences on using paragon with new characters? A +40 vitality boost (for example) seems a bit game breaking on a new character?
 
Started a HC Demon Hunter on "Expert" earlier today. Except for a brief "Oh ****....!!!" moment when frozen, it's been pretty easy.

50% extra XP helps though, keeps you far ahead of the curve.

If you pop 3 + 4 at the same time the damage is insane and more so if your ancients are all on one mob such as a boss or an elite.

Tried this build earlier, works nicely on my Barb. Died a few times on Torment 3 but mainly due to being stuck somewhere (jailer/waller) and not being able to use the life on hit stuff.
Not as much fun as my Wizard though and much lower magic find so even if it is arguably more effectively (certainly in solo) I doubt I'll use it much.

Ha, absolute joke sometimes, especially when you're treated by a yummy set piece being looted in the clan chat to rub salt in the wound.

Passives, my wizard is 112k on the profile page but before I even do anything she's up to 145k in game.

I just snagged it for £35 via the us battle.net store. Purchase it as a gift then apply the emailed code to your diablo 3 game via account management. Worked a charm. That's £25 less than the EU price.

Decided to cancel my boxed collectors for this expansion (have D3 collectors), and saved myself £30 whilst still maintaining all the digital goodies!

Cheers for the tip, I'll be doing that.

I was planning on getting the collector's edition but it's really not worth it. It's the same price as the original and that came with Diablo 2 and LoD, a die-cast metal Diablo skull, 4GB USB drive shaped like a Soulstone, the white angel wings, all the digital items and the art book, behind the scenes DVD, game, etc.

All the RoS one has is a bloody mouse mat. Definitely not worth 65 quid.

do I need to set a new US account on battle.net in order to do that ?
 
I've not played this in quite some time (not since a few months after it was released). Has much changed in terms of content or is it all the same just with new loot?

login to us.battle.net and go to the store, click RoS, next to the buy button is a gift button, add the email you want to gift it too and payment option (I used paypal), instant code to your email account, switch to eu.battle.net and register the code.
