That's my barb, he's about 280k dps in game if I remember correctly, don't know why it shows lower dps on the bliz page?

Anyway, he sux now. I used to be able to farm mp10 but now T2+ is just like drudging through mud, fury regen is terrible and certain elite abilities are just plain silly / not avoidable, even maxing out resists with paragon (im about 180 or something). I'd like a spec that could at least get me around the map killing as comfortably as my wiz that has 1/2 the dps.

If anyone has a better spec for me or some suggestions I'm all ears, but for now im playing my newly created wiz and having fun.

Matt.

Regarding the DPS difference between Battle NET profile and in-game I believe Omaeka told me it's to do with the passives not being picked up or something, as for the build... it's better than mine so I can't say much.

My plan is to get to Paragon 200 if I can prior to patch, and I will try and get one of each class to 60 so I can pick which one to carry on with in RoS.

I'm thinking the same. I have a WD left to level, he's only 21, but I have plenty of helfires and a full cains set so I might level him up to 60 in the next few days. I'm around 178 to 180 paragon, cant remember what I was when I logged last night, so I reckon it's doable in just under 2 weeks!

Wizard just seems a bit powerful right now. I have similar problems on my DH where hatred gen is slow so you can't really nuke anything, consistent DPS is fine. I would imagine a wizard with similar gear would kill much easier :P

The only solution to hatred regen at the moment is to spec Preparation:Punishment, Blood Vengeance and Nightstalker and use disc to refill your hatred bar. Defeats the object of having 2 resource pools to balance imo and also forces you to use 2 passives on resource generation. Might be a bit better at 70 I guess with a 4th passive slot but DH is quite frustrating to play at Torment IV+ due to the resource constraints.

Just seen the downtime is extended to 18:00, bah!

This. My DH shows at half the in game DPS (65k vs 130k) because Sharpshooter isnt taken into account on the web but is included in game. I assume other buffs are also not being added.

'scuse me...... Woohooo, 1,000 posts in 10.5 years...

Sounds like they broke vault at least..

Thats me screwed then!

From Reddit:

Bug is pretty simple:

You cannot Vault when your cursor is out of Vault range, resulting in...

* not using Vault at all if you're standing still.
* delaying the Vault or not using it at all if you're moving.

Pre-patch, you'd just Vault at your position towards your cursor.
Work-around: Always keep your cursor somewhat close to your character when vaulting.

Feel bad for the peeps who don't have day jobs right now, is that the 3rd time they've increased maintenance window? I hope it's up by 6pm that's around when I'll be home.

Been playing a lot of hardcore recently - just dinged my first lvl 60 HC toon the other day - quite enjoying it (untill I'm killed again lol)

It's not very nice how they line up the EU maintenance with the US because that means peak time is down over here while Americans sleep, they should do them separately and EU should be tonight or last night?

Ditto, go my Witch Doctor to 60 the other day, though I've only been playing on Hard since I'm a massive coward! Gonna farm some gears and slowly ratchet up the difficulty though.
Anyone know of any rough figures for how much resists/toughness would be optimal for certain difficulties?

Ive never ever entertained the thought of playing Hardcore mode, i dont even know what the benefits are drawbacks are, anyone care to enlighten me?

For me it just adds that extra bit of excitment to the game, rather than mindlessly ploughing into mobs with no drawback if you die :D
Knowing every wrong pull could be the end of that character certainly cranks up the fun (and horrifying frustration) sometimes!

Yeah i know if you die thats it, but what are the incentives, someone said +xp% or something? increased drop chance in items? anything at all? or just the thrill of seeing how far you can do without dying? which while i can understand is probably fun in some respects, i dont mind death to my toons if i means i can run back and pickup my loot lol
