Nice one, I joined last night and managed to get to level 57. Looking to hit level 60 tonight. Then not sure what to do.

When people are saying they are doing Torment 2 - do you mean act 2? Sorry I never really played much of diablo games or even this one

Ahhh right that makes sense lol, me and my brother where doing master last night and just done the skeleton king. I had no problem at level 56/57 but my brother was getting D***ed on lol he was a DH mind he was level 54

Although personally I think running Torment is only worth it if you want levels, for loot I get a lot more just running normal with a fast character (lots in movement speed and movement speed skills) last night I got 1 legendary while running the game in Torment 2 (did the whole of act 1) the night before I ran the entire game in normal and got 5 legendaries, a couple of legendary plans and a set item.

Yeah if just wanting to farm item, normal mode is the way to do it, if you want paragon levels then torment is the best or if you are 4 people then torment is best.

But solo speed farming for items, go Normal

so we recording who's actually from ocuk in the clan?

user tag: DrSasso#1872 (think that's the right number...if not.... still starts with DrSasso ;) )

Got to 45 on my Wizard last night and picked up that Passive that slows monsters by 80% when hit by Arcane spells.

Seems totally overpowered lol, Im not even getting touched any more.

Just had a thought about the smart loot system with BOA/trading in party only. Isnt this in the long term going to encourage people to only group with people of the same class? Lets say I have 3/4 Natalya pieces and just need the ring to finish the set. The most likely way for me to get this is to be in a party with 3 other Demon Hunters and get one of them to trade it to me if it drops. In return I could for example offer to trade them a Dead Man's Legacy should it drop, which they need.

Since we are all the same class its much more likely to

a) Be a drop someone can use and
b) Have the correct 'smart loot' stats for the person I am trading it to

I can well see in 6-12 months time clans made exclusively of certain classes simply so they can maximise their loot chances.

Is there something in the system which works against this that I dont know about?

There is a danger this may happen yes, but the mystic will help you "re-roll" an item to have a main stat that suits your class best.

You can only re-roll one stat though, so lets say a helm drops for a barb in my group with Str and +rend damage (not sure if this combo is possible but bear with me), you can only ever reroll one of those 2. Whereas I want dex and +cluster damage.

Loot at ilvl61+ only drops in Torment, ditto the new Legendaries.

If you only want to grind Paragon levels quickly then your best bet is to get a reasonably well geared level 60 character into Crypt of the Ancients in the Field of Misery then get killed by the elite and resurrect in town. Leave the game and switch difficulty to Torment 6. Use the town portal to return to the Crypt and kill the white mobs before repeating the process. You can get to Paragon 90 in a few hours doing this before the process slows down markedly.

I propose a new thread were everyone posts up their Battle Net I.D.

We'll amend the OcUK welcome message to state members must post their details if they wish to remain in the clan.

Those who don't can then be removed so as to allow dedicated OcUK peeps in. Members who joined who aren't actually OcUK posters can be weeded out.

Fair ? thought's ?

When Diablo 3 first launched orderoftheflame set up a site for people to add battlenet tags to and what classes they play etc, could start using that again?

Link.

I'm going to get my friend to boost me tonight by me as a level 1 making a game as torment 6 and he comes in as his level 60 wizard, i tried this last night and got from 1-10 in about 5 minutes :)

tbh that's not really that quick :p With the 50% boost you can level characters really fast anyway.

Well the reason it was like 5 minutes was because of all the talking at the start of the game! :D

Also i just boosted 3 of my friends up to 60 so they owe me one :)
