Just had a thought about the smart loot system with BOA/trading in party only. Isnt this in the long term going to encourage people to only group with people of the same class? Lets say I have 3/4 Natalya pieces and just need the ring to finish the set. The most likely way for me to get this is to be in a party with 3 other Demon Hunters and get one of them to trade it to me if it drops. In return I could for example offer to trade them a Dead Man's Legacy should it drop, which they need.
Since we are all the same class its much more likely to
a) Be a drop someone can use and
b) Have the correct 'smart loot' stats for the person I am trading it to
I can well see in 6-12 months time clans made exclusively of certain classes simply so they can maximise their loot chances.
Is there something in the system which works against this that I dont know about?

Coincidently for those who may want to level up a new char whilst the XP boost is active, from start to finish on normal I got to Level 43.
Although personally I think running Torment is only worth it if you want levels, for loot I get a lot more just running normal with a fast character (lots in movement speed and movement speed skills) last night I got 1 legendary while running the game in Torment 2 (did the whole of act 1) the night before I ran the entire game in normal and got 5 legendaries, a couple of legendary plans and a set item.
I propose a new thread were everyone posts up their Battle Net I.D.
We'll amend the OcUK welcome message to state members must post their details if they wish to remain in the clan.
Those who don't can then be removed so as to allow dedicated OcUK peeps in. Members who joined who aren't actually OcUK posters can be weeded out.
Fair ? thought's ?
I'm going to get my friend to boost me tonight by me as a level 1 making a game as torment 6 and he comes in as his level 60 wizard, i tried this last night and got from 1-10 in about 5 minutes![]()
