Just done a bit of reading on the Paragon system and if I'm understanding it correctly it basically means that once you hit level 60, you then rank up in Paragon levels that give you points to spend on various attributes?

Is this about right and can someone give me a basic run-down on how the "magic-find" system works? (I've seen mention of swapping gear mid-battle!?!?!)

Yes, they're also shared across all characters

Magic find system doesn't exist at the moment afaik, the latest patch made magic find gear not really needed.
 
Can you join more than 1 clan?

Who is the current leader of the OcUK clan? I thought the name list was for the existing clan to do a purge, but if it's for a new OcUK Social joining list then I'll happily do a run through this list tomorrow morning (out tonight) and add everyone.

Don't want to create a splinter group if there's an option of keeping us all under the same roof!

Yes, once you hit 60 (70 in ROS) you earn paragon xp. Every paragon level you gain you get a point to put in 4 separate categories (offence, defence, core and utility). At p-level 800 (lol) these categories will be maxed since you can only put 50 points into the 4 abilities per category. Above 800 you can put a point in mainstat or vitality.

Magic find is completely worthless now, it only applies 10% of the stat to legendaries and doesn't roll on new gear at all iirc.
 
Just noticed the stats on the character pages on bnet dont appear to include the bonuses from paragon.

Found these bad boys the other night, my first genuine upgrade since 2.0.

erm i had two legendary pole arms drops in 10 minutes of each other

saw the dmg was close but that won, dint realise it was a 1 hander :O :D

now my dps should rise even more :D
 
Just hit lvl 45 and killed Diablo.

Took me two days. Never played it before this week. Really enjoying it. It's not far off Diablo 2 imo.

I got a legendary 2 handed axe in act 3 which put my damage output through the roof. I killed most bosses before they even finished introducing themselves :-D

Heh no issues mate. I don't think anyone got anymore drops, but i got 2 legendaries from one boss. Pig Sticker and Monster Hunter, not too great but a slight upgrade.

No worries mate, we only did 1 more after that anyway. I'll farm some more keys tomorrow and we'll hopefully be able to get together to do some more.

I did manage to get a ring crafted for leveling my Crusader though, and I am quite pleased with it.
