Meh, tried to pre-order as a gift on the US site to gift and somehow ended up buying the vanilla game. (Putting that on MM soon lol).

Any tips on using the US site correctly?

Interesting decision you've left at the end there. They are very different games and I've really enjoyed both for different reasons. ME has a great universe, lots of story depth, and a real sense of being an actual "universe". The appeal there for me is in the immersion and the overarching narrative. On Diablo 3, in contrast, the story is pretty light and generic when all things are considered, but the combat is suitably satisfying and visceral, and there's a real urge for "more dps, more stats" when it comes to the end game and upping the difficulty and grind.

I'd say both are worthy of some time, but they're very very different games.

That will stop friends being able to join using quick join (assuming you have the game set to "Private"), I'd imagine it also stops clan members from being able to join, and that they just haven't changed the wording on it, but I'm not sure.

Great stuff, thanks for that Bloomfield. As soon as I've finished the storyline I'll be re-ticking that option though!
 
i bought the cdkey for ROS from simplycdkeys

anyone else get it from there does it contain the pre order loot?

want to know before i activate it

What pre-order loot are you expecting? If it's just the wings then you need to register your key before they release RoS otherwise you won't get them. Blizzard are giving the wings to all that add the key to the game before it goes live. As for the other stuff, not sure. Think you only get that with the Digital Deluxe.

CDKeys.com don't send the keys out, the original email you got will have a link in it, you have to click on it to get your key (atleast that's how it works if you bought it using a guest account).

I should have worded it better. I meant the cd key to be ready as mine still says pre order :D

I tried the link from the order email and it just leads me to page saying its still on pre order. Anyway still no rush as I got work tomorrow :(
 
Aslong as codes (from anywhere, and any version) are registered before April CET (so March 31st, 22:59:59 GMT, or maybe 8AM (Midnight PST) on April 1st, both times are listed on the EU site) you'll get the wings and Demon Hunter hero in HotS :).

That's strange. Ordered this morning and got my key about 10 minutes later.
