BMW and M Power Owners

I'm getting better with my DA so will see how I manage :)

Must be a sign of getting old but 17" alloys mean tyres will be miles cheaper than the 20" for the XF.

I'm a bit of lurker around these parts and don't post often but do have a read daily - so I'm aware of your interest in a F10. I was, just out of the interest, looking at the F01 7 Series to see where the prices are at currently.

Are you not interested in something like the above? Seem to be priced similarly to the F10. I'm assuming warranty costs won't be too expensive, in light of the low mileage of the cars.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, especially inside an XF with it's wonderful navigation screen :p

This is the main thing that out me off tbh. The BMW display and tech is so much more modern. You can't stream audio via Bluetooth in the XF, the interface is slow and touch screen is fiddly on the go.

Thats where the facelift come in...its still not BMW iDrive (or at least the latest one) good but its a marked improvement over the previous gen and has stuff like streaming all included.

Deposit on 530d made, looked and drove lovely and nicely under 20k budget.

HUD is very cool.

How do you go about applying for the warranty, is it all online or do you need to have the car looked over?
Does it have any other decent options?

HUD is truly brilliant. Tells you absolutely everything you need to know without you ever having to take your eyes off the road.

HUD, visibility pack and pro nav :)

And DAB too, not sure if that's part of pro nav. Oh and sports automatic gearbox.

No fancy seats or adaptive suspension but the price was pretty good. Didn't think you could get a 530d with some extras and sub 60k for under 20k.

Nice one. I LOVE my 530d, it's fantastic. Reasonably economical, and reasonably fleet when required.

Would have loved the HUD, but figured that's a grand better spent elsewhere. Lucky you for getting it. And ace news for the Pro Nav. That would now be a dealbreaker for me. I simply wouldn't but a BMW without it now.

I had discounted the F10 because so many of the sub-20k ones had either moon miles or no extras, was pretty much fixed on getting an XF. Then I found a small independant that had a 520d and a 530d with sub 60k miles, both with pro-nav and well under 20k. I did think about the 520d, but heart won over head :D
