I never lock my door if i'm in.
Well, heed the lesson in this thread: you're living with the very real risk of parcel delivery.
OP *might* get raped in his sleep tonight.![]()
Don't lock your door. Otherwise the postie might smash your back door in.
I ordered something with Amazon yesterday for delivery today and it was due for delivery with 'Amazon Logistics'. This afternoon I heard the door bell and started walking downstairs only to find a bloke walking out the house and closing the door behind him with my parcel on the floor in the hall.
Before I could catch up with him he was in his van and off. I've already had the "why didn't you have the front door locked?" lecture but I'm just wondering if anybody has had this happen before and is it worth me saying something to Amazon?
I've never experienced it before and was very surprised to be honest...
I never lock my door if i'm in.
That's not saying much though, people bitch and moan about each and every delivery company without fail, Amazon just happens to have more customers.
I find that a number of people have their front doors open with just the force of me 'shoving' mail through their letter box. Today, more so than usual.
He might have knocked and found your door swing open, it happens.
I usually find it quite embarrassing and try to shut the door as casually as I can... but I assume he's paid on a no deliver, no money type of contract. So anything goes.
