I thought it was a brilliant re-introduction to the show. Tense in places, still funny, and whilst generally keeping to the book plots feels more than ever like it's trying to do its own thing with the dialogue and characters. Absolutely flew by, and managed to cram in updates for a fair few of the plotlines. The episode 2 teaser on Thronecast looks to complete the majority of those we didn't see this episode.

Also, hearing the theme tune knowing you're about to see brand new stuff is pretty spirit-rousing. :D

Not sure I can keep up with setting an alarm to watch at 2am every week though. Feel drained this morning.

Great episode. Love Oberyn. King's Landing is definitely my favourite place right now, there is so much intrigue going on there and it looks like it will all culminate at the wedding.

Series link setup for 2am Antlantic HD to view @ ~21:00 monday evening or as soon as the missus starts snoozing (she's a heretic and doesn't like GOT..). Best way of legally watching it and being able to skip the ads imo.

I think you need to get a divorce mate. ;)

Is it actually showing on a uk channel at this time? If not, then you know the rules....

I have it on catch up on NOW TV

The theme tune makes my missus do a little squeal. I wish I could still do that :(

:p

Does anyone know if they transfer between devices?
When you buy a Kindle book it is associated with your Amazon account, so you can access it on any device with a Kindle application. I can read on my PC, Nexus7, Android phone, iPad, or Paperwhite... but once you get used to the Paperwhite it's hard to use anything else.

In keeping with the spirit of the thread would it be too much to ask that the members who can watch at 2am or early the next day respect the members who can't stay up that late on a Sunday and can't watch it Monday till after 7 at best and refrain from spoilers even though they would be "legal" as it was shown on a UK network. This is a preemptive request not an accusation that anyone has spoiled it so far:)

All good then, cheers Andrew :)
