Same, except I had 26 and all needed returning. I didn't keep them though and didn't think to tell anyone till now or bother benching any of them

That's my experience with both AMD and nVidia

Yes, ShadowPlay, to be fair, is a good selling point. I think AMD has / will have something that does the same soon?

The guy who was working on it has joined raptr and Radeonpro (the tool that would have had it) has been put on indefinite hold.

I'm not actually, it was an Asus Reference GTX 780, i had it for a day and a half about 2 weeks ago, very nice cooler as far as refrence designs go, i can't take that away from it.

I was genuinely curious about what all the fuss was about in here over those cards, i'm still none the wiser.

Have both a tri-x 290 oc and gtx780 windforce
Former for a month and later since end of last year,no problems other than odd driver crash with the 780 in assetto and earlier levels of metro last light?
Both very similar performance but have a slight preference for the tri-x which has given me zero hassle,just remember to flick tiny switch on card to match uefi or legacy mb bios.

I haven't had any of the issues you claim to have had with the 780 nor have I ever heard of anyone having those issues, to be honest.
