Maybe i am being picky. However it is very noticeable. I can't see any grid or white dots on my HTC One's display.

Hm, really not liking my screen. Bottom half has a yellow hue, digitiser grid clearly visible when the phone is displaying a white background and it doesn't seem to be very bright at all unless put up to maximum. : /

If I'm honest, my HTC One (M7) feels snappier/faster....

I've got a z1 and don't suffer what you're saying. You may have a defective handset? My z1 always feelso snappy to and that was coming from an s4 and that's using a z1, the z2 is quicker and has a much better screen. I've read there is a new firmware update. Have you tried it?

Nope. I ordered from Amazon last week and I have heard nothing. I don't think we'll hear anything until May, tbh.

Is it freezing at the same time each time? I.E when opening a particular app, or using something on the phone?

It's not people with rebooting phones that worry me but screen issues are more of a worry. Not faults but that visible digitiser doesn't sound like a faulty unit

Hm, after a bit more of a play i am not sure. I think the screen brightness at maximum is dreadful. Also, with a bright light shining on the screen you can see some sort of grid/white dots at some angles...

I see this on my iPhone when out in the sun. There's a grid going up and across the screen. Only noticeable outside on a sunny day.

Could see that on my Xperia S also. Only if out in sun directly.

It's normal to see the grid in direct sunlight.

BTW, every touch screen will have a grid as that is how a touchscreen works.

I can see it indoors out of the sun. It is faint but noticeable on a white background.

the brightness is bad in comparison to my htc one on anything other than max brightness.

bottom half of screen has a yellow hue.

I might swap it and see if I get a better one.

Maybe, but I think it is only really acceptable at over 75% battery. Anything lower and it is rubbish. Auto brightness is awful as well and always sets it way too dim. If that doesn't drain the battery too much then that is fine.

I can't leave with this overly visible digitiser though, I am going to get it replaced.
