I think the show is spreading itself a bit thin, trying to get as many story lines in as possible within the hour. Would rather them focus on 2-3 and give them a bit more attention and time.

Today not much really happened, not the best of episodes.

Had no idea Littlefinger was involved, nice surprise there

Sounds like a good idea, but as with any group of moaners you will get people complaining that they are not showing someones story etc etc etc.

Seems goes with showing to many stories

I've never known Jaime to rape anyone.... Quite the opposite in fact, he has shown his disgust when characters have been threatened with rape, and has made his feelings clear on the subject.

I don't think he raped her. The way I took it that she didn't want to do it in front of her dead son.

Good episode I thought.
Liked the little chat that Tywin had with Tommen, and Daenerys delivered those lines brilliantly.

As for 'not much really happened'... Don't read the books if that's how you feel ;)

Rapey scene was so unnecessary, apart from that it was a good episode I thought.

The Jaime/Cersei scene. I honestly have no idea what to say.

During the rape, incest, ever so slightly necrophiliac vibe scene you see Cersei grab the drape when they're on the floor by Joffrey's body, I honestly thought Cersei was going to pull Joffrey down on to them during the act.

Seriously? When a woman is putting up a fight and saying stop, no etc its safe to say any continuation of sex is indeed RAPE!

Apparently, while they were filming, Jack Gleeson kept sitting up and peering over the side so he could see what they were up to...

Yeah that bit with Jamie and cerci was seriously ****ed up! Brother n sister banging right next to their dead son... Ok...

Anyway, we didn't know Jamie knew he was his son? Cerci kept saying 'he's are son', which Jamie shown no reaction at all to?

Jaime loves Cersei. There's never been any evidence that he considers his children anything other than a natural by-product. And I would say his opinion of Joffrey was much the same as everyone else's. He issued threats to see the birth (mentioned in series 1) but then lost interest.

Good episode. Hope we see Pod again.....and I hope Tyrion doesn't get the chop! Deny's story is getting a little boring now. I mean, the dragons didn't even make an appearance :(

Love how the realtionship with the Hound & Arya is progressing. Brilliant storyline

Dani's story is a long one unfortunately. I don't think that even the books have got as far as her reaching westeros and kicking ass with her dragons yet ? Martin had said that the 6th book was set 5 years after the 3rd one to allow for her dragons to have grown again.

As for the jamie / cersei scene, it's a funny one. Cersei passionately kissed him, seemingly forgetting that she had obviously decided to stop their relationship, despite still loving him. She then remembers this and stops kissing him and pulls back. Jamie decides he's had enough of her resisting her feelings for him and rapes her. The act was portrayed in the book as consensual, with cersei encouraging him and telling him to go faster. So its a crucial change in the plot that martin has turned Jamie into a rapist.
