Maybe stick with plain cufflinks and get one of those "craaazy" piano ties instead.

What is the purpose of a cufflink? Is it purely a fashion thing?
I think apart from formal occasions, I've never worn any. I certainly don't own any but I'm thinking maybe I should judging by this thread

Many years ago, I went through a phase of wearing French cuff shirts with cufflinks so I amounted a fair few pairs.
I never wear them these days (outside of *very* formal occasions) but still have my collection somewhere.
They were all very simple designs apart from these.
If you're going to do it, get articulated sharks with fricking diamonds for eyes:
