I think the phantek is trying tell you to come over to h2o mate

think they need a couple of burn in runs with the cpu at 80c to activate properly. Remember reading an article on tomshardware about theese pads when researching lq pro/ultra.do you have to heat them up to cure them? I remember the indigo pads
im only hitting 70c max ibt stress with d14 cooler 4.5ghz and 1.344v
Interesting. I've never seen one of those before. I will consider trying that depending on how i get on with the H110.
When I first put my Phanteks in ( not using stock fans) I was getting idle temps of around 32c....so I changed from using Arctic Silver to Arctic Silver Céramique 2...and now have idle temps of around 27c...although I dont do any stress testing or run any OCs
You need to get yourself a porn computer, its a backup encase your main computer is downSome people name them HTPC.
id use the clu on the ihs as well Tone, way better than mx4. Does stain a bit though.3c drop on idle could well be a 3c drop in ambient tempSame goes for all forms of temp measurement, unless you take ambient before/after testing different coolers its pretty much pointless.
I use MX-4 for everything, CLU if i have a delidded chip mind![]()

I see what you mean about the way the paste looks....in fact it looks as mine does , bugger lol
Temps are near enough identical to the H100i i sent back so back to square one lol.
you shoulda bought the silver arrow
the mounting needs to be lower down on the left hand side,so it makes contact better
