^ Yeah but so far the character doesn't come across as slimy as he does in the books, he is far too clean cut so far.

Where the storm crows in series 3 I can't remember?

Yeah he's distinctly lacking some color in his beard at the very least :D

They sort of combined them with he second sons I believe.

Anyone else notice that since the episode where they introduce Daario, Mero ect of the Second Sons, you don't see any evidence of these troops. All i see is unsullied. Did the second Sons all leave and Daario stayed with Dani? who knows but as he killed Mero and that other guy and became leader of the mercenary company we could do with seeing at least some of them.

The first Daario seemed more like a failed B-movie pornstar. I was really confused when his second appearance in the next episode was a different guy. I'd have thought the casting crew were a little bit better than axing a guy they've just introduced. Heck, why not even redo the prior episode?!

ah ok so they exist but have never really been seen, that makes sense then.

I imagine the lack of sell swords in Dany's entourage is probably due to it being a expense to cast and shoot another army on top of the unsullied. Especially so when they probably wont do anything specific in this series, so they will probably just write the unsullied in instead. Even with out the sell swords the 10,000 unsullied is still the biggest army in the East.

Neither really seem to fit the role, from what little I know from the books based on the articles online about his replacement its not really something thats easy to do on screen IMO.

They didn't axe him. Ed Skrein landed the lead role in the reboot of The Transporter franchise. It's the same situation as the first Gregor Clegane recast - Hollywood role > Game of Thrones TV role.

To be expected really. The Game of Thrones cast is so large and contains so many little known actors that a few are bound to leave for roles in other projects.

He isn't that important anyway. His character from the books is pretty unpopular, so changes are hardly surprising. His acting is no worse than many on the show imo....and if he looked like he is described in the books it would look ridiculous.

Edit- the guy who played him before had a bit more of the arrogance than the new guy, who just seems cocky. Book Daario is a very nasty person, but they seem to be playing him as another good guy(who will probably eat a baby out of nowhere for some reason later on:p)

A bit out of date now, but still...

^:DPretty much sums up the show in general, but in this instance it isn't a biggie tbh.

I've just thought, has Mance Rayder even appeared yet this season?...or Asha? Are they just going to appear out of nowhere?

Wasn't Asha going to attack the Dreadfort or something stupid?

^^ lol, that's why I'm avoiding the books till the TV is long finished, rather than being a culture and style clash that spoils both a little they're a treat I'm looking forward too.

During the rape, incest, ever so slightly necrophiliac vibe scene you see Cersei grab the drape when they're on the floor by Joffrey's body, I honestly thought Cersei was going to pull Joffrey down on to them during the act.

ROFL I thought that too...was waiting for it :D

It sounds normal in series 1, but it just gets worse with every series.

Daario Naharis needs more swagger, they gave the new guy a beard, why not make it forked and add a splash of colour?
