@my local Tesco`s anyway
While I was shopping on Thursday I fancied a Pack to have a slurp on over the weekend
Been ages since i fancied a high strength beer and was disappointed that none seemed to be in stock
Just done a bit of googling and it turns out Tesco and Sainsburys are no longer selling this due to `bad image etc??`
Pandering to the PC crowd and vote muppets I think
Not interested in the only alkies drink that crowd
These supermarkets have dropped in my estimation due to this kowtowing
Anyone else ?feel free to rant here like me

Plenty of other high strength beers around that are much tastier than Special Brew. If you want to get drunk, for cheap, best stinking to spirits in my opinion.

Annoyingly, the Tesco in Clydebank can't sell any beers/ciders and caffeinated alcohol drinks (think Buckfast) over 5.5%. The council put the restriction in, rather than Tesco and it's bloody stupid. People aren't going out and getting smashed on £1.60 330ml bottles of Sierra Nevada. Again, responsible drinkers are punished for the action of the minority.

I've licked a 9v battery and tried special brew.

They both tasted similar
At least purchase something strong you can enjoy

I've drank lighter fluid before, and I can tell you quite comfortably that Special Brew is worse. Though, having a cigarette after a shot of lighterfluid was very tense.
