I had a comparatively short-lived love affair with the witchdoctor, but what I didn't like was when all my dogs and garg were off screen attacking a white mob, I'd get overrun by elites. At the time I didn't see an easy way of resolving the matter as my admittedly under geared WD had no spell that would nuke something down when needed. I'd like to try the class again, but am also not hugely keen on the idea of fetish builds. Can the class function quite happily as a nuker and will it be more tanky than my DH?
With the correct gear the damage output is insane.
Mask of Jeram for +100% pet damage
Tasker & Theo for +50% pet attack speed
That's an insane DPS upgrade just from two pieces. I feel WD is the strongest class at the moment. Especially with 6 set Jades.
the game doesn't like me probably, I play WD alamost exslusively since RoS and I had all sorts of leg hats including green zunni and jade...but not Jarem. When I got Carnival I started using fetish army+darts. +60% poison from amulet, wrist and ring allows me to do bounty and rifts on t4. With 3 pieces of zunni I think i will be able to move to t5 and clear rifts quite quickly.
How do i make the best of this crappy Cindercoat roll?

Re-roll 15% life to vit? (322k life atm)
or re-roll LPK to Poison Res? (stacking poison res for One With Everything, 1149 atm).

What %age the extra 280 Dex from the socket equals in relation to your current dex?
What %age the extra 5% fire would give on your already 90%? (For ex +15% when you already have +150% is only a 10% increase)
If the damage increases you get from the above seem paltry, then consider the life% to vit. 322k is pretty low to be honest.

Did you just go for games where it was lowest paragon opens or something as 1k shards is 20 rifts
I did a couple last night but since most of the stuff I want for dh can't be gambled I'm better off as a runner than an opener anyway.
I just joined any. 90% of people there advertising just say "lowest paragon opens" so at P415 I got a lot of free shards. Wasn't complaining.
Dex, life and 2 sockets is not so bad. The resource cost reduction is good.
Re-roll LPK to poison res, a good roll poison res is far more valuable than anything else you could change.
EDIT :: FYI below is what i run for T3 atm for my fire monk. I have no res at all on rings chest or helm. +80% fire, +49% elite.

oh ok nice. i picked up a SoJ last night with 15% fire dam too, which puts me at 105%. Good place to stop?
My thoughness is a little low so im going to try to use shoulders legs and waist to bring it up. what are you rocking in those slots?
You need to get gnk spirit stone with that fire damage! It scales with fire, and is bugged to hit first target twice. That's 800% damage with max roll, more than the LTK itself
I have this in storage but use another with +life on it atm for higher torments
I use Cain's set for legs + boots as the mats are so easy to farm. Makes crafting for OWE resist much less painful (i use poison also). And decent 2 set bonus. There are better sets obviously but the mats are harder to get. Waiting to get RORG.
Shoulder is just random burden of the invoker stuck there, vit & allres on it. Probably weakest piece i have. I have cdr on it also but will switch it to 15% life when i can afford it!

I've just crumbled and bought the RoS expansion but the "Adventure" mode is still greyed out!?!?!
I know it says you have to complete the campaign to unlock it but I have already done that both with my L60 monk as wel as my newer L49 Wizard!
Does this mean I have to complete the game, from the start after I've bought the expansion??

Just finish Act 5.
