1. Christianity was just as bad, and could be just as bad, but it's not just as bad currently.

2. Christianity is part of our culture, it's errors are our errors. Islam is not part of our culture, it's alien.

3. Hate is a strong word. I don't hate Muslims. I just don't believe their religion and culture has any place on our shores. It is hostile and dangerous.

British is just an amalgamation of many many foreign cultures, and the more we get the more British becomes a rich culture and the more British we effectively become. There is no sense of identity being eroded quite the opposite, and I think it is wonderful.

Do you know what started the Crusades? it wasn't a random "lets go to the desert and kill people" idea, it started out as a counter offensive in response to the Muslim advances into and conquest of Byzantine land (Byzantium is now called Istanbul so I don't need to tell you who won).

That's irrelevant though, you judge people based on what they do now not what they have done in the past, especially when it's unlikely the Christians/Muslims today had anything to do with it on account of not being born.

Not that I judge anyone for their religion but if you are going to bring up things that have happened in the past, two wrongs don't make a right and all that. Other than that though I don't care what Subway do and if they've removed pork in some locations because of customer demand then I'm not sure there is much to complain about other than you might like pork, the problem would come if it was removed for religious reasons for a minority of people but I don't see Subway doing that.

The Crusades were a thinly veiled attempt as a counter offensive. In fact it was more about so called 'western christian control over the Holy Land' - and not even about the proclaimed "christian access to the Holy Land" which is obvious BS seeing as there were christians already living along with jews and muslims there!!

The Crusaders arrived at Jerusalem, launched an assault on the city, and captured it in July 1099, massacring many of the city's Muslim, Christian, and Jewish inhabitants. They also established the crusader states of the Kingdom of Jerusalem, the County of Tripoli, the Principality of Antioch, and the County of Edessa.

Because the First Crusade was largely concerned with Jerusalem, a city which had not been under Christian dominion for 461 years, and the crusader army refused to return the land to the control of the Byzantine Empire, the status of the First Crusade as defensive or as aggressive in nature remains controversial.

In effect it was more about western christians than christians overall - why else would they slaughter other christians in the holy land too.

And another simple point - was it muslims who traveled half way across the world to capture some land or vice versa? :p

history has been re-written so many times that sheep tend to just soak it in rather than use common sense

Because they're forcing their religious restrictions on other people, all people want is a choice and to make their own decisions.

Further proof that schools seem to be dumbing down their curriculums.

Christianity was by far the worst perpetrator of atrocities against mankind since it was founded as an organisation.

However, now it is the modern times, not the dark ages, so the argument about christianity being more violent IS irrelevant and pointless to raise. Islam has taken the banner and now flies it proudly.
