Guys, if anyone needs Maltahel T6 kill for reapers fear mat, just whisper me in game, get to the checkpoint and I'll come kill him for you. It doesn't matter if you are a group of 3 or solo.

My tag is r3w1nd#2713.

I think you came to my T2 rift last night ;) I play under name Blomokk :)

I'm assuming the RoS expansion has an effect on the normal campaign mode??

I bought it last night and when I re-joined my game I was in a market-type area with narrow streets that I don't recognise from my previous play-throughs!?!? (I think I was around act 2 or 3 before!)

I'm looking for some advice. I've been playing my DH since RoS and enjoying it. From what I read on the official forums I should be just about T3 capable, but in reality I can only do T1 comfortably, making me think that the squishiness of the class isn't compatible with my preference to stand in one spot and nuke things down.

I'd like to resurrect either my old barbarian or monk, both of which I have at just above level 60. Which is the most fun and which is likely to be easiest to get capable for higher torments, without having to go for an overly tanky spec? I like to just charge in and smack stuff till it falls over and be able to do this without dying too frequently.

Weird!! I've not long since played through on hard and for the life of me I thought it was new!

So does RoS actually add anything campaign-wise?

Adds act 5 to the campaign and adventure mode for once that's done.

Getting very fed up with my internet at home at the minute, get random disconnects, up to 4 or 5 an hour, keep losing progress in bounties and rifts :(

Can you link your DH profile? I'll take a look, it might be easy to get you more comfortable in T3.

I'd apreciate you having a look at mine and doing the same if thats cool? I'm not sure what my profile is, but I've got you on my friends list if that helps (should be Hzza in game I think) :D.

I can run T2/T3 but I'm pretty sure this is mostly due to the damage buff from the Calamity. At the moment I'm farming for money to upgrade my gems and I'm trying to get my crit chance up above 50% without my all res going through the floor but wondered if there was anything else I can do on top of that.

Can't link it from work, but I have reapers wraps, magefist, cindercoat, calamity, SoJ, no set bonuses. I use a CA LFB build, lots of fire damage, 49% crit, 350% chd as I use a quiver at the moment. I have no resource issues and damage of 650k ish (all kit has fire damage or CA damage, plus calamity means its higher than it looks), and 5.5m toughness. I could ramp up the damage a big chunk, but was finding my health dropping too fast even on T1.

Tbh I think its down to my play style preference rather than the class (which is good fun) or my gear.

EDIT I melt stuff at T1, but notice that DHs running T4 on the forums have 4m toughness and the like, making me think stutter stepping is vital. I'll be honest and say I cba to practice this as it doesn't seem to be very much fun

Really starting to get annoying how much I am failing to get Tasker gloves from Kadala at the moment, I just know that when I finally do get them the rolls will suck too! :(

I had sunk some thousands into getting them when I had found 29k blood shards, now I have done 36K shards and still nothing.

Same, I've got mauraders twice (both crap rolls) and Gladiators twice from her. No T&T :(.

Nice Calamity, is the socket rolled or natural? If natural I would be re-rolling hatred regen into % damage (once its fixed). Either way, it should be in your main hand as some skills use mainhand weapon damage to determine their damage, and it has higher dps than the Izzucob.

Ring of Royal Grandeur could replace either of your rings and allow you to lose 1 piece of Crimson set and still keep the 3 set bonus. Farm Act I caches for this, and you may pick up a decent Golden Gorget of Leoric at the same time.

Once you have the ring, I'd probably swap the belt out for one of Harrington Waistguard, Witching Hour, Cord of the Sherma depending on whether you want pure damage or a useful defensive effect.

Your other ring you should be on the lookout for a Stone of Jordan with fire damage and crit chance, or a well rolled Unity.

Keep making Reaper's Wraps, you are lacking fire damage on the ones you have and farming Mathiel is quite easy. Also keep a look out for an amulet with fire damage as well, you are missing 40% extra fire damage across these two slots alone.

Finally the Izzuccob could be replaced with a better legendary such as a Helltrapper (Act V caches) or even a crafted one such at the Hallowed weapon. Izzuccob by itself has no legendary effect so its just a high stat potential hand xbow.

Anything else will be down to luck, ie Natalya's or Marauder set items which you cant target through Kadala or caches. The Marauder 4 set bonus made T3 go from quite tough to trivial for me.

Also if you have Danetta's hand xbows dont underestimate the usefulness of the set bonus. Its basically infinite vault and makes bounty farming extremely fast.

It looks like your pride's fall has not been re-rolled. You should roll life % into a socket since you can get 23% with a max level gem rather than the 15% max on a legendary helm. Alternatively you could roll the gold % into a single resist for a bit more toughness.

I'd question the benefit of Hungering Arrow/Archery vs Entangling Shot/Cull the Weak since most of your damage is going to come from CA anyway and with Entangling Shot you can proc the slow that feeds Cull the Weak, gaining an extra 20% damage.

Personally I'd also swap perfectionist for Ambush and change your pet into a Boar. You will get 20% all res from the boar rather than the 10% from Perfectionist (yes I know about the armor and life% as well), and it can also tank for you which helps in higher torments. With Ambush you have +40% damage against every mob on first hit which is worth more than +30% every 30 seconds in my experience, especially if its tipping you into 1 shot territory.

There are other ways to gear but if you are going fire/CA then this is the easiest route for you to go.

Good luck :)

Hmm I pretty much melt stuff at T3, with this profile:

And I don't have to stutter step.

Can`t help but feel i`m not putting out the dmg i should with those items, can someone give it the once over and point me in the right direction. :)

Gear looks fine to me, but I wouldn't use haunt or soul harvest with a pet build. Use spirit walk instead of soul harvest and use the health rune instead of the mana one, then replace haunt with fetish army and use the blades rune that summons 3 more fetish.

Summoning the fetish army with taskers and your hat will roll over any rare elite mob, regardless of health. Its my "i win" button on my WD lol. Similar gear to yours also.

Edit
