Shouldn't have said that... You know what is incoming now!

Blah, blah, goal means nothing, anyone could have scored it, West Brom are in the bottom half etc:p

Who cares what the whiners say :p

He has a tough job up on his own and he is part of the team I support. Haters can carry on hating whether they are arsenal fans or not :D

Chelsea XI: Schwarzer; Ivanovic, Cahill, Terry, Cole; Lampard, Matic; Salah, Willian, Schurrle; Ba

Subs: Hilario, Kalas, D Luiz, Van Ginkel, Hazard, Torres, Eto’o.

Norwich XI: Ruddy; Martin (c), R Bennett, Turner, Whittaker; Tettey; Snodgrass, Johnson, Howson, Olsson; Elmander

Subs: Bunn, Bassong, van Wolfswinkel, Fer, Hooper, E Bennett, Redmond

Why 'should' have? The rule states the FA 'may' remove points from a club, not have to, and certainly it doesn't have to dock unwon points. Previous precedent has been to remove won points in which the player has played. For example the MK Dons were docked the 3 points they won when the unregistered player came on as a sub and scored the winning goal. In the 4 league games the Sunderland player played, they won a grand total of 1 point, and even then, were winning 1-0 before he came on as a sub. In the cup, they were getting beat, until he went off......

When the FA fined Sunderland, every owner\managing director of every club in the Premier League was informed of the discretion, and of the fine, and not one raised a complaint as we were effectively down barring a miracle. As soon as the miracle started taking shape, that's when they decided to complain about it.

I clearly said four points, one point for the draw they got at Southampton and the other 3 for actually playing an unregistered player in the 1st place. Every other club has been docked the points for using a player they are not allowed to.

Its irrelevant at what point in the games he was used.

As an example he wasnt used in the cup games vs Utd at all, but that doesnt stop it being the case that he aided in the team getting that far in the first place. That should be an automatic loss by default ( in the game he was used in)

People have been saying we'll be the next team to drop out of the top 4 for years, hasn't happened. I remember a couple of years back Sky Sports were saying the "balance of power" in North London had shifted, still waiting on that one as well. :p

Thats mainly because Liverpool had a few dodgy years, just when you became most vunerable / when City made it big.

From next season is when it will get especially hard for everyone ( Liverpool having extra European games, Utd developing a new team while trying for top 4 and Arsenal hanging on for dear life), City and Chelsea will probably be clear at the top though - unless they get a couple of bad injuries during / just aftet WC.

The favourites for the top 4 next season have to be those who have made it this year. There are no guarantees that United will succeed in rebuilding to the level that they need to, particularly given the performance at Sunderland yesterday.

I'm not saying that they won't manage it, just that they have shown nothing to imply that they will so far.
