Regarding the magnetic cable/dock. If I were to leave my phone on charge say from midnight at 20% power should I expect a full charge to 100% 8 hours later?.

Is it just me or does this phone have low volume compared to most phones?
Settings > Sound > sound effects > Sound Enhancements > settings > xLOUD.
If i use the phone charger it charges in under 3 hours from flat. Can't say what it is exactly but it's probably quicker (it's got the new power charge system from Qualcomm in it I think?). Magnetic appears to be a bit slower (20% maybe) but it might just be me, I can't prove this.
Hows the tempered glass screen protector?
Is it a branded one? I've seen the cheaper versions ~£1 which look to be just a film. Then i've seen a nilikin protector which is supposed to be anti-smash, along with anti-scratch/anti-fingerprint. But these are about £10. Interesting to hear if anyone has one?
I reordered mine from Amazon, to save the faffing about with three's lack of stock. Estimated delivery for this Tuesday from Amazon. I've got a 64gb micro SD, now i just need to sort out the case and/or screen protector.
A full charge via magnetic takes around 4 hours for me

Yea its going back. Its obvious Sony rushed this release. I dont think il be buying another until they sort out this dodgy stock.

To be fair your issue doesn't appear to be anything to do with launch stock, you've bought something thats clearly been used so your issue is with the retailer not Sony.
Well I bought it brand new, sealed. Its just another issue to look out for when buying.
I think you are ordering through Clove too and I just received the dispatch email. Might even turn up tomorrow.

Clove emailed me saying they can't ship until next week. Obvious sign to go for a HTC!
How strange/worrying...Mine is now with Royal Mail and due for delivery tomorrow. Odds on I get a device where you can not only see but bloody feel the digitizer
While it may look new, it's really honestly a return. Even refurbs are required to have a new outer shell at minimum for QC/health reasons, someone has repackaged that
I have received my Casemate 'Barely there' case in black and I am quite happy with it.
It won't win awards for its superior all round protection but it does not add much bulk and feels nice to hold in the hand.
The magnetic port is free too but I don't yet have the magnetic charging dock to try it.

Its the casemate barley there and it wont fit in the dock with any of the adaptors fitted because its too thick. I just removed them and sit it loosely in there which does the job but far from ideal.
The screen protector is "Genuine Explosion Proof Tempered Glass Film Screen Protector for Phones/Tablets" if you search on ebay. It fitted really easy and seems very good quality and quite thick.
