Godzilla - Trailer

Haven't bothered with any trailers since first 1, maybe 2nd..can't recall.

It's cheapy Tuesdays at local Vue and my wife doesn't seem bothered about it so I might just pop down to see it on Tuesday morning in work time as nobody will be there.
Did it with other films like Hobbit 2 and was 3 other people there - lovely a quiet

Can't wait to see it. Hope it delivers.

Oops, I thought it was out today for some reason. Guess I have to wait a little longer and see it next Tuesday. I'm away to the Squash British Open this weekend so won't have time.

Roll on next week

Was expecting rotten tomatoes to give it a poor score but they have it at 85%. Going to try and see if in IMAX on sunday night. Should be an awesome blockbuster. :)

Just got back from seeing it. No spoilers.

It wasn't the film I was expecting (expecting a remake of the Matthew Broderick film) but it held my interest.
Godzilla definitely isn't very scary. He looks more like an angry bear (check out the snout on the gif post by Somnambulist)
A solid block buster with ok acting, not the best plot. Just right for a lovely sunny day :)

Just got back from seeing this.

I thought Godzilla looked awesome, so close to the original that I remember but with a modern edge. Spot on I reckon. As for the film... Good, but with a couple of obvious plot holes and cheesy moments. Definitely worth a watch for the entertainment and never boring. Thought the music score was pretty poor though, I didn't feel like it fit the film. Needed to be more gritty and emotional.

Just about an 8/10 for entertainment value for me.

I thought it was awful, one of the worst films of the year for me. God awful acting and plot. Terrible, cheesy script. Wouldn't recommend at all, dragged on.

I'll give them credit for getting the Big G spot on and there's a few decent sequences but overall it was pretty crap, even by summer blockbuster standards.

Booked my cineworld ticket using a £4 clubcard voucher. Adding another £4.50 should get me the IMAX viewing, so cheaper than the £14 I would have paid. Seeing it Sunday night at 8.30pm. Mixed reviews here, but I'm going with an open mind. I'm sure it'll be wonderfully crap! :D

They modelled his face on a bear/eagle type thing when they designed him, going for a kind of regal look.
