Saw the trailer when watching 300 at the IMAX at the trafford centre. It looked fantastic.

You can absolutely tell they're still working on the effects if you compare it the an earlier trailer, the same shots have more elements in them and slight improvements

Post-prod stuff can go right to the wire in terms of when the finished thing is distributed.

EDIT: Hey, look at the trailer again. 5 seconds in. Red brick building with a corner smashed away. Look at the smashed away corner and notice the two tiny identical figures standing amongst the debris. Could these be the mothra faeries(sp?)?

I watched this trailer last night on an IMAX screen and it sent chills down my spine. I will be seeing this.

It was good at the time but has aged badly, as have all CGI films from the 90s bar the matrix.
