Really? walked onto my local Tesco today, picked up a copy around 12:00 ish and lost my evening to it.. damn fine game IMO. really enjoyed it so far but then I'm a wolfenstein fan from the early days, can't beat wolfenstein 3d on dos back in the days of shareware...

graphics on wolfenstein are not up there with killxone or infamous but they are better then rage on my pc maxed out, so it's not ugly , and some parts look very nice. But the game is a heck of a lot of fun... and fhis is what matters
 
Loving Wolfenstein The New Order, except for the graphics this is a great game and the ÜBER difficulty is very challenging only had to drop the difficulty down once so far as it was insanely hard.
 
Graphics for wolfenstein are function over anything else , but it can look pretty good places. it's certainly not one of the better looking ps4 games, but it sure is a lot of fun...

more fun then killzone.

also update 1.7 killed my ds4 rumble. I hadn't noticed until last night, when I thought, hey no vibrations that's odd... seems if I turn the ds4 off, and on again it makes it work.
 
Does anyone else think the guns sound really quiet on Wolfenstein? Almost as if every gun has a silencer on it (comparable to nearly any other fps).

My very first game glitched within 5 minutes as well. As soon as I moved over to the second aeroplane at the start only my head was above ground. I ducked and fell through the plane into the sea. Still alive I was moving same pace as the plane above me.. only from the bottom of the sea.. had to restart lol.

I've an issue with the sound full stop, some stuff is really loud, but the dialogue in-game over your "radio" can be really hard to hear sometimes.

I also had a glitch where the game hung when reloading a level after I had died.
 
is there not an official wolfenstein thread?

game sounds like a buggy mess tbh, glad I didn't bother, it will be selling for £20 second hand in 2-3 months time no doubt, but since it doesn't have multiplayer I wasn't interested in it anyway.

developers should make a new online fps only, I would buy it over COD any day.

not going to spend £400 on a xb1 and then a copy of titanfall just to play that one game. i'll wait for titanfall 2 which will be released on both consoles.

i would buy it on PC but i haven't gamed on it for years due to issues with CSS.

I am contemplating buying a new MB as I think that will fix the issue but tbh it means rebuilding the full thing again which I just cannot be bothered with so I have given up with PC gaming which is a real shame.

I will be buying a new hard drive though soon, maybe that might help with the issues with a fresh install. Current hard drives are ancient, surprised they haven't died on me yet. Running 2 velociraptors atm, will therefore require a hybrid or ssd to compete with them. That certainly won't be cheap either.
 
Wolfenstein just keeps getting better. That bit on the train, genuinely tense lol.

Never expected character development and emotion in a Wolfenstein game. This is spot on old school FPS after getting bored of Titanfall.

It's 5gb on the PS4 and 7gb on the One. Possibly a diamond in the rough this game.. will have to play some more to find out :).
 
Transistor is getting some great reviews. Arguably the best thing on the PS4 at the mo - which is to be expected as Bastion was excellent :)

I'll be all over it tonight!

I tried it, not as good as through the speakers. The voice is too rich to put though a tiny speaker.
