If it gives both set bonuses, yes, otherwise, no.

Edit: You may get more HP just rerolling the %life to vit, depends on your current Vit as to which will be better.

Very happy with my Crusader now. Torment 5 is a stroll without using 2 Unity's and rift runs take 5 - 10 minutes (depending on mob types / map / density). Need some similar stat Akkhan boots, some Str/Crit/CritD/CDR gloves and I might go back to a Hellskull which'll put me at 5 seconds downtime of Akarat's Champion. Probably a Cindercoat too if I can get a good one. Currently having an issue where Akarat's Champion wears off and I have 10 seconds before I can use it again, and in that time I run out of Wrath in about 3 - 5 seconds so have to waddle around a bit or scramble for globes as I don't use a builder.

It's depressing that my 70 hour Crusader can do T5 effortlessly and my 750 hour Monk can't. Doubt 2.1 will be any time soon either to fix that.

your luck is insane, ive been playing my Crusader pretty much since RoS and ive not had a Maximus drop and wasnt til about 4 days ago i got a Stone of Jordan that did not roll well, and ive farmed tons of bounties and still no RRoG :(

Not to mention ive been 1 piece short of full 6 piece Akkhan for a couple of weeks now :(

Im happy with my Darklight build right now and it will only get stronger once i get the Akkhan chest piece, i will lose a lot going from my cindercoat and Magefist though, thats a lot of +fire and also the cindercoat redux on fire skills will hit me hard, but the overall uptime of AC will help mitigate that, also it does mean when i finally find a SoJ worth wearing i wont have to use a RRoG with it, although tbh i would love one as it allows me to use a Cindercoat :(

Anyone else not feel the buff last night ?

I was hammering out T5 rifts for almost 4 hours at 5-10 minutes each one and I wasn't seeing more than 1-2 legs per run. Sometimes nothing in a whole rift (up to boss - closed after).

Not one for conspiracy theories but that seems a bit more than just 'bad luck'.

I was playing when the buff ended, and I thought that drops seemed worse all of a sudden then noticed the buff wasn't active any more.

Drop rate seems no different to pre buff for me since the buff icon disappeared.

RNG is RNG though, so who knows.

So my RRoG

I really can't decide what to do with this. Either way I'm going to lose crit hit dmg or crit hit chance but I can't decide which one I can afford to sacrifice. I really do need it though because of the reduction of set bonus.

52% crit hit chance and 406% crit hit dmg overall at the moment. I think it'd be best rolling the life on hit for crit hit dmg?

As said above I'm best putting in a high int gem in the socket?

Yeah you would be nuts to do anything else with it. Roll the Life on Hit for CHD %, as close to 50% as you can get. Put in a big int gem, the most you can afford.

It will still be reasonable. Crit % is easier to get so CHD % is better. However if you happen to get Crit % in the first few rolls and you don't have much cash it's not too bad either :)

Wow, Smudge said he was power leveling your crusader the other day, can't have been more than a week ago now, how on earth have you put in so much time already?

Cheers mate. It's just the gems now that are really difficult and expensive to craft so it's making it a long process! Only had enough gems to roll it twice so far and both were useless. :D

Simple, Crusader is one of the strongest classes now, and easy to gear with the shard vendor.

Roll to Magic Missile dmg % is probably best, as you would always gain benefit then of +2 Magic Missiles AND Magic Missiles doing 15% more dmg so matter your spec! :)

Ah yeah good idea! I've ran out of arcane dust now so I need to get farming some blue items. :D

Also got these from Kadala, I rolled to 8% crit hit chance but from my current gloves I lose nearly 10% damage. Now I understand that sheet DPS doesn't really mean that much as the gloves have 16% more fire damage. Am I doing the right thing by equipping the gloves?

Cheers

Try with and without, but yeah you may lose 10% sheet but gain 16% fire damage, which should be good. However that is not a great set of Magefists tbh.

You ideally want:

Fire %
Int
Crit %
CHD %
Attack Speed

That is what they call trifecta, as you get the 3 main damage increasing stats.

I wouldn't spend more on your ones really, as you should be able to find a better set :)

Awesome thanks. So far now you'd recommend that I just keep spending blood shards until I get a set of magefists like the ones above? :)

Also just found some 'strongarm bracers' with really good stats and rolled the life on hit to 15% fire damage, when I get more cash I'll try and get as close to 20% as possible. :)

Fire gear is already coming along decently it seems!

Yeah man keep it up! :)

Magic Missile with +2 MM from Mirrorball is really powerful by itself tbh, you'll probably find it's one of your main dmg dealers and doesn't cost anything extra. I don't know what sort of build people use in T6 with fire gear but aim for the kind of stuff they wear.

I would guess that strongest is 3 piece Vyrs with RRog with 2 piece Aughilds (helm/shoulders/bracers, any 2 of those) with enough CDR to get Archon on a short enough CD to use very often.

Wiz has a passive for an extra 20% CDR so you can get a lot of it.

Really good/easy places to get CDR initially - Diamond in helm gives 12.5%. Shoulders with Int/Vita/All Res and 8% CDR are ideal.

You can get 8% on rings/amulets too, though arguably rings are better as you can roll key stats on amulets and the CDR % value on them both is the same.

Good point about the Aughilds CD. I've seen the shoulders and helm with CDR. This is what mine look like at the moment:

Would you recommend to keep crafting the shoulders and helm until I get some form of CDR or isn't it worth me going out my way for just yet?

Cheers

CDR is only really worth it if you have multiple sources.

Like for ex, 5% isn't really gonna make or break your build, but 30% CDR can really be amazing. 50% CDR just gets insane.

I would say it's mainly worthwhile when you approach getting 4 pc Vyrs set bonus, until then it won't help too much, so it's not really that key right now.

Your gear is coming along nicely from only a few days ago. Your wep/boots/offhand are all good. RRoG is fine I wouldn't spend time farming for that again, just do Act 1 bounties if you need rift shards and if you are lucky you may get another.

For upgrades keep focusing on getting another pair of Magefists from Kadala, in addition you can drop Vyrs gloves there too which is a bonus to go for :)

After Magefists, imo you need some new legs so gamble for those afterwards.

Keep hoping for amulet drop to give you an upgrade too though I know how hard it can be to get the right one (Act 1 bounties can also drop Leoric Amulet which can roll well).
